Prior Art Generally, this type of vacuum blood collection tube comes in small, large, and medium sizes. To collect a small amount of blood using this vacuum blood collection tube, there are two methods: using a small size tube, or using a large or medium size tube.

Problems with the conventional technology When using a small-sized vacuum blood collection tube and collecting blood at the same time as another large or medium-sized blood sample, simply inserting the vacuum blood collection tube into the large holder will cause the inner diameter of the holder to be larger than that of the small-sized blood collection tube. considerably larger than the outer diameter,
Since it becomes unstable, an adapter is required to attach the blood collection tube to the holder when collecting blood. Furthermore, when the collected blood is centrifuged, the blood collection tube does not fit firmly into the centrifugal cup and gets stuck inside, so it must be removed using tweezers or the like after centrifugation. Furthermore, since the rubber stopper is small, it is troublesome to attach and remove it, and there are various operational problems such as the inability to stand it up in a large or medium-sized test tube stand.
Also, the diameter of the blood collection tube is small and the length is short, making it difficult to operate.

On the other hand, when using a large or medium-sized vacuum blood collection tube, an adapter is not required, but because the degree of vacuum is low, the amount of blood collected is easily affected by changes in atmospheric pressure, and the blood flow rate is extremely slow. For this reason, not only is it difficult to change the end point of blood collection, but there is also a risk that the blood collection will end before the specified amount of blood has been collected, resulting in insufficient blood collection, and the compatibility with anticoagulants is poor. Furthermore, since the amount of blood to be collected is relatively small, the tube must be tilted considerably when drawing blood into the hematocrit tube, which may lead to blood spillage.

In the case of collecting such a small amount of blood, there are various problems mentioned above, but in recent years, with the advancement of micro-volume testing methods, the amount of blood collected has been decreasing, and depending on the test, 1 ml or 2 ml may be sufficient.

The blood collection tube body 1 is made of glass or integrally formed of a synthetic resin such as polyolefin, polystyrene, polycarbonate, acrylic styrene resin, trimethylpentene polymer, etc., and has both ends 1a, 1
Two chambers 4 and 5 are formed by opening b and providing a partition 3 having a thickness of 0.5 mm to 2 mm in the middle portion to prevent communication between the openings at both ends. The blood collection tube main body 1 has the same external dimensions as a conventional large or medium-sized blood collection tube, with an inner diameter of 10 to 14 mmφ and a length of 75 to 75 mm.
It is 100mm. One chamber 4 has a volume suitable for collecting a small amount of blood; for example, when collecting 1 ml of blood, the volume is usually 1.2 to 1.5 ml, and the degree of vacuum is 507 to 633 mlHg. The partition 3 has a thick wall around the periphery, a thin wall at the center, and a rounded bottom. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 3, a glass tube may be inserted into the chamber of the synthetic resin blood collection tube body. The plug body 2 is
It is made of rubber such as butyl rubber or natural rubber or an elastomer, and is fitted to one end 1a to seal the interior of the chamber 4. A partition is provided in a glass blood collection tube by fusing the bottoms of the test tubes together.

Specific Effects of the Invention After the vacuum blood collection tube of the present invention is placed in a holder in which a blood collection needle with needles at both ends is set, it is punctured along the direction of the patient's vein, so that the cutting edge of the blood collection needle enters the subcutaneous tissue. Once done, push the blood collection tube to pierce the rubber stopper with one end of the blood collection needle, and as you advance the blood collection needle further, blood will be drawn into the blood collection tube.

Specific Effects of the Invention According to the vacuum blood collection tube of the present invention, the degree of vacuum is as high as in conventional small-sized blood collection tubes, so the blood flow rate is fast, eliminating the disadvantages of collecting a small amount of blood with a large-sized blood collection tube. can. For example, inner diameter 10.6mmφ, length 100
With the vacuum blood collection tube according to the present invention, which has a blood collection chamber capacity of 2.2 ml and a vacuum level of 691 mmHg, it took 2 seconds to collect 2 ml of blood, but there was no partition of the same size, and the vacuum level was 691 mmHg.
With the 211Hg sample, the blood flow rate became extremely slow at around 2ml, taking 7 seconds to collect blood and making it difficult to determine the end point.

Further, according to the reduced pressure blood collection tube according to the present invention, since it is as large as a conventional large-sized blood collection tube, blood collection operations, centrifugation operations, and attachment/detachment operations of the stopper 2 are facilitated.

Also, the rounded bottom allows for good mixing. Also, since the bottom end is open,
The blood collection tube can be placed in an upright position. Furthermore, according to the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, blood can be collected into both chambers 4 and 5 by sealing both ends with plugs 2 and reducing the pressure. For example, put EDATA salt in chamber 4, and put EDATA salt in chamber 5.
If no additives are added, add EDATA salt to chamber 4 and chamber 5.
When a sodium citrate solution is added to each chamber, when sodium fluoride is added to chamber 4 and no addition is added to chamber 5, blood can be collected for two types of purposes with one blood collection tube.

In addition, when both blood cell components and serum (plasma) components of the same sample are used for testing, if the blood is collected in one chamber 4 and the serum is transferred to the other chamber 5 after centrifugation, one blood collection tube can be used. Blood cells and serum from the same person can be stored. In this case, chamber 5 on the transfer side is
