と、第3にこの種のガラス容器は需要量が比較的
わずかであるために専用機を設計製作することは
経済的に引合わないことである。これらの理由に
より偏心した口部を有するガラス容器は人工成形
法による以外はほとんど製造することができない

本発明は複数キヤビテイ用のガラス成形機にシ
ングルキヤビテイ用の粗型ホルダをセツトし、該
粗型ホルダに口部を複数キヤビテイ用プランジヤ
機構のうちの単一のプランジヤに一致させて偏心
させたシングルキヤビテイの粗型を取付け、この
粗型の中心であつて単一のプランジヤに対しては
偏心した位置にゴブを投入し、このゴブから単一
のプランジヤのみを用いて偏心パリソンを成形し
たうえシングルキヤビテイの仕上型へ移送して最
終形状に吹製することを特徴とするものである。
以下、本発明をダブルキヤビテイ用のIS型のガラ
ス成形機を用いた図示の実施例について詳細に説

ツトする。粗型ホルダ3には口部4をプランジヤ
機構2のうちの単一のプランジヤ5に一致させて
偏心させたシングルキヤビテイの粗型6を取付け
る。粗型6のパリソン成形用キヤビテイ7の上端
部の中心は粗型6の中心とほぼ一致させ、シング
ルキヤビテイ用のゴブ供給装置により粗型6の中
心に供給されたゴブがパリソン成形用キヤビテイ
7の上端部の中心付近に位置するようにする。ま
た、図示を略したパリソン転送用アームには口部
成形用金型8を前記プランジヤ機構2の単一のプ
ランジヤ5に対応する側にのみ取付けておく。こ
のようにセツトされた口部成形用金型8を該単一
のプランジヤ5上に位置させ、そのまわりに口部
を該単一のプランジヤ5に一致させて偏心させた
粗型6を閉じたうえ粗型6の中心であつて単一の
プランジヤ5に対しては偏心した位置にゴブを投
入し、該単一のプランジヤ5のみを用いて偏心パ
リソンを成形する。このときプランジヤ機構2の
他方のプランジヤ側にはカウンタブロー用エアの
洩れを防止するためのキヤツプ9を被冠しておく
ことが好ましい。この偏心パリソンは粗型6の中
心に供給されたゴブから成形されるものであるか
ら成形が容易であり、また、偏心パリソンを成形
する粗型6の肉厚は口部4の付近を除いて極端な
差を生じないから偏心パリソンの温度分布もほぼ
均質なものとなるこのようにして成形された偏心
パリソンは粗型6が開いた後に口部成形用金型8
とともにシングルキヤビテイの仕上型へ移送さ
れ、最終形状に吹製される。なお、仕上型内部に
空気を吹込むブローヘツドはダブルキヤビテイ用
の片側のみを用いてもよくあるいはシングルキヤ
ビテイ用の大型のものを用いてもよい。最終形状
に吹製された偏心した口部を有するガラス器11
はダブルキヤビテイ用のテイクアウトトングによ
つてコンベア上へ取り出され、口部成形用金型8
は粗型側の単一のプランジヤ5上に復帰して以下

のパリソン成形用キヤビテイ7を粗型6の中心を

常のガラス器製造に用いられている複数キヤビテ
イ用のガラス成形機にシングルキヤビテイ用の粗
型ボルダ、粗型、仕上型等をセツトするのみで偏
心した口部を有するガラス器を製造することがで
きるものであり、専用機を製作する場合とは異な
り比較的小ロツトの需要に対しても直ちに対応す
ることができる。また、本発明はシングルキヤビ
テイ用の粗型ホルダに口部を複数キヤビテイ用の
プランジヤ機構のうちの単一のプランジヤに一致
させて偏心させたシングルキヤビテイの粗型を取
付けて該単一のプランジヤのみを用いて偏心パリ
ソンを成形するようにしたので、粗型の中心にゴ
ブが投入されること及び粗型の肉厚分布に著しい
不均一を生じないこと等の理由により容易に偏心
パリソンの成形ができ、この偏心パリソンをシン
グルキヤビテイの仕上型へ移送して最終形状に吹
製することにより偏心した口部を有するガラス器
を効率良く成形することができるものである。こ
のように本発明は従来工業的に製造することがで
きなかつた偏心した口部を有するガラス器の製造
を可能としたものであり、業界に寄与するところ
