When creating slides, movies, etc., it is necessary to determine the size of the original drawings or manuscripts that are the basis for the images so that they can be easily distinguished or read when creating the manuscript or projection film. requires extensive experience and knowledge. This point can be seen from the fact that many specialized books have been published on this subject. However, it is not easy for people with little experience or knowledge to follow these specialized books, and they often make mistakes. In particular, in cases where there was no specific example taught in the specialized text, which was called an applied problem, the choice had to be made through repeated trial and error.

Nowadays, equipment such as cameras and projectors has become widespread, and the opportunity to project images has become familiar to even so-called amateurs. It would be desirable to have an apparatus that can easily create projection films that can be easily distinguished, and by extension, can easily create manuscripts for the same.

For these reasons, the inventor of the present invention has conducted intensive studies to develop a device that allows even those with little experience and knowledge to easily create appropriate manuscripts and film for projection, and as a result has arrived at the present invention. We have succeeded in developing a video original image discriminator that achieves the above objectives.

以下、添付図面に基づき本発明を詳述する。 Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail based on the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 2 shows an example of an image original image discriminator of the present invention, which includes a rectangular frame 3 at one end on a support 4 and a perforated eyepiece 5 having a peephole 6 at the other end. parallel to the support and approximately perpendicular to the support, the dimensions of the rectangular frame are determined by the horizontal distance between the frame and the eyepiece, or, for greater accuracy, by the outer horizontal distance from the observer's pupil. When the distance is c, the vertical direction is a, c/b, and the horizontal direction is a', c/b, based on the positional relationship with the above-mentioned image plane and viewing point. As a result, it is possible to determine whether the image can be discriminated by matching the viewing angle with respect to the image at the time of projection and the viewing angle with respect to the original drawing or the like at the time of producing the projection film. The one shown in Figure 2 has a grip bar 7 for ease of handling, and the eyepieces are arranged opposite each other so that the direct line of sight from the peephole reaches the center point of the rectangular frame. .

The above-mentioned support 4 is composed of two supports 4a and 4b, for example, as shown in FIG. It is advantageous to configure the lens to be expandable and retractable while maintaining the parallel state with the eyepiece because the dimensional ratio can be changed as appropriate. Incidentally, as shown in FIG. 3, a scale and a reference point may be marked to facilitate adjustment of the distance between the rectangular frame and the eyepiece.

On the other hand, as a method for making the determination device of the present invention conform to the above-described dimensional conditions, in addition to the method of adjusting the length of the support described above, it is also possible to change the size of the rectangular frame provided at one end of this support. There are two methods: one method and one method that combines both. Which of these methods is selected is determined by the size of the object to be photographed, such as an original drawing or manuscript, the size of the filming venue, the desired size of the entire judging device based on portability, and the like.

To change the size of the square frame, you can prepare square frames of different sizes in advance and replace the square frames as necessary, or you can change the size of the square frame with four sides. It is also possible to divide the body into two or more side constituent parts and assemble them as appropriate into sizes that meet the conditions. In this latter method, it is preferable to display scales on the side components for convenience during assembly. Regarding the method of fixing the rectangular frame to the support, when replacing the rectangular frame, for example, attach a pair of pressing plates to one side of the frame and press the rectangular frame against the support. It is necessary to make it easy to remove, such as by fixing it to the
Further, when an assembly method is adopted, one of the side constituent parts can be fixed to the support body by screwing or the like. Specific examples of the rectangular frame that can be assembled include those shown in FIGS. 5a and 5b. Of course, it is not limited to these. The rectangular frame shown in FIG. 5a consists of two L-shaped side pieces 9 and 10 that are divided into two on a diagonal line, and the piece 9 is fixed to one of the supports. A plate 11 with a guide rail and a sliding surface parallel to the diagonal line (dashed line) of the undivided side formed when assembled into a rectangular frame is attached to the empty end of the side, and the plate 11 has a guide rail. A piece 10 is attached to the frame 10 such that, when assembled, the side constituent parts move along the undivided diagonal of the rectangular frame using the plate 12 as a guide plate.
As a result, rectangular frames of various sizes having a similar relationship can be obtained. In addition, the rectangular frame shown in FIG.
and, on the other hand, side component part 1 further divided into each side
4, 15, and this side component part 14, 15
are adapted to slide independently along each side of the side component 13 which is fixed to the support. As a result, rectangular frames having different dimensional ratios are obtained.

The procedure for determining original drawings, etc. using the judging device of the present invention will be explained with reference to FIG. When attempting to use the judgment device of the present invention to judge in advance whether or not it is legible from a certain audience seat, the judgment device should be placed in the direction in which the perpendicular line drawn from the center of the original drawing coincides with the optical axis of the judgment device. Then, when looking through the eyepiece hole 6, the inner frame of the frame 3 and the outer frame of the original drawing are aligned. At the same time, if the content of the diagram viewed from the eyepiece hole can be read, it is determined that the projected image is also readable, and if it is unreadable, it is determined that the projected image cannot be viewed either.

If the content of the original drawing is illegible, please
While looking through the object, bring the judge closer to a legible distance, and at that position record or memorize the part of the original drawing that appears to be surrounded by the frame 3. If you take a photo for a slide with only this area in full view,
The resulting slides, when projected, provide a legible image from an audience seat at an average distance to a person with visual acuity equal to or better than that of the person using the detector.

Conversely, if the contents of the original map are too easy to read even when the outer frame of the original map is placed inside the frame 3 of the device, move the judger back to an appropriate position. , a larger area than the original drawing will be included in the field of view of the frame 3, and this field of view will be taken as a slide photograph, but usually appropriate explanatory text or other text will be added to the newly created extra area. Illustrations etc. can be added.

The legibility of the original image seen through the eyepiece hole No. 6, and the original image captured on film using a camera, developed and fixed, and projected as a slide, etc., and the image seen from the audience seats at an average distance. Strictly speaking, there should be a difference between legibility and legibility, but recent advances in technology have enabled the selection of appropriate cameras, film, and projectors, and the use and processing methods that have been established to improve legibility. If the operation is carried out, it is now possible to easily obtain an image in which there is practically no discernible difference between the two.

In this way, if the determiner of the present invention is used,
Even an unskilled person can easily determine in advance whether or not the slide film or projection film they are about to produce will be suitable for projection at a given location. This is very convenient in practice because it is possible to prepare an appropriate film according to the results.
