DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present application relates to a control device for a lighting circuit provided in a dental treatment instrument, and in particular, it energizes the lighting circuit for a certain period of time regardless of whether or not the treatment instrument is operated for dental treatment, thereby controlling the lighting circuit inside the oral cavity. In addition, it illuminates the treatment equipment at the same time it is activated for dental treatment, and allows the illumination to continue for a short period of time after the operation is stopped, allowing inspection of the affected area immediately after treatment, etc. In addition, the application of voltage to the light source lamp is relaxed to prevent shortening of the service life of the light source lamp due to high potential being applied to the light source lamp.Examples of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.

Next, the operation will be described in detail. When the treatment instrument is simply used as a lighting device, contacts a and b forming the first circuit of the switching device 3 are closed. Then, the DC current from the DC power supply A flows through the resistor 4 to the capacitor 6 and through the diode 31 to the timer circuit 8, and an output is generated from the timer circuit 4, which is applied to the base of the transistor 9. , the transistor 9 is turned on and the first
Relay 10 is activated, and switch 1
1 and 12 close. Then, the DC current is switched to switch 1.
At the same time, the capacitor 18 is slowly charged in the dimming circuit 19 in accordance with a time constant determined by the constant voltage circuit 16 and the resistor 17, and the voltage across the capacitor 18 is also gradually increased. This voltage across the terminals is applied to each of the light source lamps 22 and 23 of the illumination section E through transistors 24 and 25, and is applied to one transistor 2 through contacts a and b of another switching device 3' and a flip-flop circuit 26.
4 is selected, the transistor 24 is turned on, one of the light source lamps 22 lights up, and the corresponding light emitting diode 29 also emits light. Therefore, regardless of whether or not the treatment instrument equipped with the light-emitting lamp 22 is activated, the illumination circuit of the treatment instrument is activated, thereby illuminating the affected area in the oral cavity. On the other hand, a capacitor 6 connected to contacts a and b of the switching device 3 via a resistor 4 is charged with a time constant (approximately 2 minutes) determined by this and the resistor 4. When the potential becomes high (approximately 6V), the output of the timer circuit 8 disappears and the transistor 9
Since the base position of is no longer present, the operation of the first relay 10 is released and the switches 11 and 12 are opened. Therefore, the power supply to the constant voltage circuit 16 is cut off, and the operation of the dimming section C, selection section D and illumination section E is stopped. is also solved. In this way, the lighting circuit is turned on for about 2 minutes and then turned off automatically.

This effect is the same when the other treatment instrument, for example, the treatment instrument equipped with the other light source lamp 23, is used as an instrument for illuminating the inside of the oral cavity, regardless of whether it is operated for dental treatment. Contacts a and c of the switching device 3 are electrically connected.

Next, a case will be described in which a treatment instrument is held in hand for dental treatment. In this case, contacts a and d forming the second circuit of the switching device 3 are closed. When pressurized air is supplied to operate the treatment instrument in this state, one of the static switches 20 operated by the pressurized air closes, and the second relay 13 operates to switch the changeover switch 14 to rectify the current. The DC current from the circuit 1 is inputted to the timer circuit 8 via the changeover switch 14 and the diode 32, the timer circuit 8 is set, and the first relay 10 is activated through the operation of the transistor 9 by the output thereof. , 12 are switched ON. Therefore, since a direct current is applied to the constant voltage circuit 16, the dimmer C operates as described above, and the light emitting diode 28 emits light as the static switch 20 closes, and the output of the flip-flop circuit 26 causes the light emitting diode 28 to emit light. One of the transistors 24 corresponding to the static switch 20 is activated, and one of the light source lamps 22 is turned on. Therefore, the treatment operation can be performed while illuminating the patient with the treatment instrument equipped with the light source lamp 22.

On the other hand, when the changeover switch 14 is switched, a direct current is applied to the base of the first transistor 33 of the discharge circuit 7 via the switch 14, and the transistor 33 is turned on and the capacitor 6 connected between its collector and emitter is turned on. A discharge is made.

Then, from this state, the operation of the treatment device is stopped,
When the corresponding static switch 20 is turned OFF, the operation of the second relay 13 is released and the changeover switch 14 is turned OFF.
returns to its original position, so the DC current flows through switch 1.
2 and 14 to the resistor 5 and the second of the discharge circuit 7.
They are applied to the base and collector of transistor 34, respectively. Therefore, the first transistor 3 of the discharge circuit 7
3 is turned on, the capacitor 6 is charged for a time constant (about 2 seconds) determined between it and the resistor 5, and when the potential reaches a high potential (about 6V), the timer circuit 8 The output of 1 disappears, the operation of the first relay 10 is released, and the switches 11 and 12 are also deactivated.
OFF, and one of the light source lamps 22 is accordingly turned off. That is, the light source lamp 22 stops the operation of one of the treatment instruments equipped with it, and the resistor 5 and capacitor 6 are turned off after the corresponding static switch is turned off.
The light will be turned off after a time constant of about 2 seconds, for example.

As described above, according to the present application, the treatment instrument can be used as a lighting device that illuminates the inside of the oral cavity for a certain period of time regardless of whether it is in an operating state, and the treatment instrument can be held hand-held for dental treatment. The lighting function is activated for a certain period of time determined by a time constant circuit after the activation stops, which is useful for checking the condition of the affected area immediately after treatment, and also allows the treatment equipment to be activated in a short time. In the case of repeated operation, the light source lamp is prevented from moving quickly to follow it, thereby avoiding shortening the service life of the light source lamp.Furthermore, according to the present application, a dimming section is provided to reduce the voltage applied to the light source lamp. The use life of the light source lamp can also be shortened by slowly increasing the temperature, which has the advantage of improving durability.
