The printing field is expanding further, including plastic molded products. With the diversification, new and diverse patterns are required for the aforementioned objects. Among these demands, conventional methods for producing random patterns include manual methods that require a lot of time and effort and rely on the brain and skill of the designer, methods using camera operations and photo repeaters by skilled workers,
There are also methods using automatic drafting machines and XY plotters. However, these methods are difficult to realize or are limited to the production of a partial pattern. In other words, with manual methods, there is a limit to randomness, with camera operation methods, which are created through a lens, it is difficult to create complex patterns, and with methods using automatic drawing machines, etc., it is limited to line drawing patterns, and patterns with areas are difficult to create. above is impossible, etc.
There were various inconveniences.

In Figure 1, manuscript 1, such as handwritten or printed material,
The pixel images at 1' and 1'' are converted into analog signals by a photoelectric converter 2 using, for example, a vidicon camera, and further converted into digital signals by an A/D converter 3.The converted signals are sent to the original 1,
They are registered as pixel memories 4, 4', 4'' which correspond 1:1 to the pixel images at 1', 1''. The system controller 5 drives the random number control unit 6 that controls the uniformity representing the irregularity of the random numbers, the repetition period, the variables of the random numbers, etc., and selects the type of random numbers appropriate for the pattern to be created. Then, the random number generator 7 is driven accordingly to generate random numbers with controlled irregularities. The generated random number is input to the pixel selection control section 8, and the control section 8 sends a control signal for pixel memory selection to the pixel selection section 9. The selection unit 9 randomly selects a corresponding pixel from the pixel memories 4, 4', 4''.
In order to determine the XY corresponding position of the selected pixel, the random number controller 6 is again driven to select the type of random number, and the random number generator 7 is driven to generate a random number. The generated random numbers are input to the X-direction position control section 10 and the Y-direction position control section 11.
Then, a control signal for the position according to the random number is sent to the X-direction position determination unit 12 and the Y-direction position determination unit 13, such as performing calculations to avoid overlapping with previously determined pixel positions, and In sections 12 and 13, the corresponding position is determined at random. The pixels whose positions to be plate-made have been determined are temporarily stored in the pixel storage section 14 by the system controller 5. The system controller 5 instructs a series of similar operations for a predetermined number of operations, and after completing the repeated operations, the pixel order switching unit 15 instructs the pixel order switching unit 15 to switch the order of all pixels stored in the pixel storage unit 14.
instruct. The exchanging unit 15 exchanges the order of positions so that pixels can be efficiently made during plate making.
