【発明の詳細な説明】 (発明の目的) 本発明はベニヤクリツパー、例えばロータリー
型ベニヤクリツパー等に於ける搬出過程で、切断
された製品と切屑が近接混在して流れているもの
の中から切屑だけを選択的に直下に落下分離する
際に用いられる空気噴射方式の自動切屑分離装置
に係るものであつて、その目的とする所は、従来
装置、例えば先願の特許第1001237号(特公昭54
−36201号)ベニヤ単板截断工程に於ける切屑と
製品の自動分離仕分装置等の自動切屑分離装置
が、製品と切屑の全量を植針コンベアーによる刺
着搬送動作と機械的な抜針機構の擺動若しくは上
下動による落下分離動作によるものであつたの
で、ベニヤ単板の材質的強度と板と板の搬送間隔
に著しい制約を受け、例えば木材資源の枯渇から
招来された低級原木から生産されたパンキー質、
割裂質のベニヤ単板の場合は、その安全な継続搬
送動作と切屑分離動作の遂行が困難で、植針ベル
トの刺着作用による製品の材質破損や、抜針機構
の応動遅れにより製品までも落下分離してしまう
ので低速搬送を余儀なくされる重大な機能障害が
あつたものを大巾に改良して、製品と切屑の継続
搬送動作は材質を損傷しない吸着搬送方式によ
り、また切屑の分離動作は搬送線上に機械的な部
材が出入りすることによつて復帰動作のための応
動遅れを伴うことのない空気噴射方式によつた、
新種の自動切屑分離装置の開発にあるものであ
る。

方式のものが用いられるが、例えば図示の場合は
ローラーアンビル4bと1乃至数枚のナイフ4c
を回転胴4dに装着したロータリー型のベニヤク
リツパーが補助コンベアー6a,6bを挾んで
配設されているものであつて、該ベニヤクリツパ
はモーター7により搬出コンベアー8等と共
に等速度で回動されるように構成されている。ま
た前記同期記憶装置にも磁気メモリー,シフト
レジスター等各種方式のものがあるが、例えば図
示の磁気メモリーの場合は搬送速度に同期して回
動する磁気ドラム5aと、前記単板検知器2から
発信される有寸切断信号を前記磁気ドラム5aに
書込む書込ヘツド5bと、前記ナイフ作動機構4
aに切断動作のための記憶再生信号を伝送する第
1の読取ヘツド5cと、後述するベニヤ単板3の
切断位置の記憶再生信号を被制御装置に伝送する
ための第2の読取ヘツド5dおよび前記一連の記
憶信号を消去するための消去ヘツド5eから構成
されているものである。

屑3bだけを選択的に該空気噴射管11による高
圧空気の瞬時噴射でその吸着搬送動作を瞬時に解
除して直下に落下分離するように装置されてい
る。この場合前記吸引凾9a,9b,9cには
夫々に連通した吸気管12と該吸気管12に接続
されたフアン,ブロアー等の排気装置13により
適宜圧の吸引力が搬送過程の製品3aと切屑3bに
作用可能に構成されている。また前記空気噴射管
11は適当な高圧空気源、例えばコンプレツサ
ー、高圧ブロアー等の高圧空気源に接続された配
管11aに開閉弁14を介して必要な本数を分岐
して垂下するように架設されているものであつ
て、該空気噴射管11は前記同期記憶装置の第
2の読取ヘツド5dから発信される切断位置の記
憶再生信号により前記開閉弁14を発動すること
によつて直下に到来した切屑3bの吸着搬送動作
をその高圧空気の噴射により瞬時に解除して直下
に落下分離するように構成されているものであ
る。

の自動切屑分離装置であつて、本発明の完成によ
つて近時木材資源の枯渇から招来されていた低級
原木から生産された刺着すると材質が破損するパ
ンキー質のベニヤ単板3や刺着しても針から抜け
落ちてしまう割裂質のベニヤ単板3の継続搬送動
作と板間隔のない高速搬送下の切屑分離動作を始
めて安全確実に遂行し得ることに成功したもので
あり、実施効果の極めて顕著な発明である。
