燃料タンクの支持構造に関する。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a support structure for a fuel tank in a motorcycle, and more particularly to a support structure for a fuel tank having a seat for a passenger on the upper surface.

The problem is that it cannot be removed and must be removed together with the frame, making it difficult to maintain.

- There is one disclosed in Publication No. 104559. However, in this case, the upper brackets 3 and 4 fixed to the lower surface of the fuel tank 2 are connected to the lower brackets 6 and 7 fixed to the outer upper surface of the vehicle body frame 5 with bolts and nuts 9 and 11. At the very least, the fuel tank 2 should be installed, especially at the joint between the front brackets 3 and 6, where the weight of the fuel tank 2 and the weight of the occupants are concentrated, at an angle to the axial direction of the vehicle body frame 5. Since the brackets 3 and 6 have a cross-mounted and supported structure, the brackets 3 and 6 must be made thicker than necessary to be strong, and at the same time, as is clear from the characteristics of the body frame 5. Although the strength against external forces applied from the axial direction is rigid, the strength against external forces applied from the transverse direction intersecting the axial direction is soft. The frame 5 itself also needs to be made strong by having a pipe thicker than necessary and having a large diameter as a whole.

く受け支える構造としては難点がある。 In other words, this type of motorcycle is a vehicle with strong engine vibrations and vibrations while running, and the weight of the rider is directly applied to the mounting support of the tank 2 via the fuel tank 2. A support structure like this has a poor directionality on which the weight of the fuel tank 2 and the weight of the occupant are applied, and as a result, it is not suitable for a structure that stably supports the fuel tank 2 having the seat 1 on the top surface over a long period of time. There are some difficulties.

At the same time, the purpose is to allow the fuel tank to be easily attached and detached.

The bottom surface of a fuel tank having a passenger seat on the upper surface is removably placed on the supporting member through an appropriate fastening means, and the tank is attached to the supporting member, and the supporting member is attached to the ship. It is characterized in that it is formed into a shape, and a flat portion is formed on the upper edge of the opening to extend outward over almost the entire circumference.

Since the fuel tank is attached to the supporting member by being removably mounted on the fuel tank via an appropriate stopper, the fuel tank can be mounted while being placed on the supporting member, and the weight of the fuel tank and the occupant's weight can be reduced. This is a solid support structure that supports the body weight in the axial direction (forward direction) of the frame. Therefore, the fuel tank having the passenger seat on its upper surface can be firmly and stably supported for a long period of time even in a removable state. At the same time, the workability of attaching and detaching the fuel tank during repair, inspection, replacement, etc. is improved, resulting in excellent efficiency, and the capacity of the fuel tank can be increased.

シンプルな外観構造に出来る。 The support member is welded and fixed to the upper end of the upright rod portion of the frame, and is formed into a substantially boat shape, and a flat portion is formed on the upper edge of the opening to extend outward over almost the entire circumference. With a highly durable and rigid structure capable of supporting and retaining the weight of the fuel tank and the weight of the occupant over a long period of time, the tank can be fixedly supported with the bottom surface of the fuel tank placed stably. In addition, the support member has a rigid structure and has the function of stably mounting and supporting the bottom of the fuel tank, making it possible to reduce the external size of the support member and simplifying the external structure of the lower part of the seat. I can do it.
