後方に延びたピラー隠蔽部を有し、サイドドアが
閉じられると、上記ピラー隠蔽部がセンタピラー
を蔽い、かつサイドドアサツシの外表面と上記ピ
ラー隠蔽部とリヤクオターウインドガラスの外表
面とがほぼ同一面内にあることである。本発明
は、以上のように構成することによつて、サイド
ドアサツシの外表面とサイドドアサツシのピラー
隠蔽部とリヤクオターウインドガラスの外表面と
をほぼ同一面に配置して美観及び空気力学的に優
れたリヤクオターウインド装置を構成することが

ーフパネル１２等からなる。サイドドア４は、第
２図に示すように、サツシ１４がドアガラスシー
ルラバー１６を介してサイドドアガラス６を保持
する。また、サツシ１４はサイドドア４の外表面
と同一面内で後方に延びてセンタピラー２を覆う
ように形成したピラー隠蔽部１８を有し、さら
に、サツシ１４の後側面であつてピラー隠蔽部１
８の内側となる部分にはドアガラスシールラバー
２０が貼付されている。センタピラー２は、ピラ
ーアウタ２２とピラーインナ２４からなる閉断面
構造であり、ピラーアウタ２２とピラーインナ２
４との前側接合部２６はシーミングウエルト２８
によつて覆われ、該後側接合部３０はリヤクオタ
ーウインドガラス用シールラバー３２によつて覆
われる。ピラーアウタ２２はヒンジ３４を介して
リヤクオターウインドガラス３６を支持する。リ
ヤクオターウインドガラス３６はヒンジ３４によ
つて支持されている端部が内方に段下げされてい
て、段下げされていない部分の外表面はピラー隠
蔽部１８と同じ高さである。また、リヤクオター
ウインドガラス３６はヒンジ３４によつて約15°
