ツチ板4とプーリー9のクラツチ面11とが係合
するように移動され、主軸1に高速回転が伝達さ
れる。前記主軸の回転に基き公知のカム装置も回
転し始め、足踏ペダルを解放しても操作部材18
はカム装置によりその位置に保持され、縫製作業
終了時にカム装置により操作部材18は前述と逆
の方向に回転され、それによつて主軸1は高速回
転から低速回転となり、更には後述するブレーキ
手段、定位置停止手段により定位置に停止され
る。
