Detailed Description of the Invention (Differential Application Fields) The present invention relates to a veneer veneer drying device, and in particular, a veneer veneer to be dried is held between a fixed heating plate and a movable heating plate under pressure. This invention relates to a veneer veneer drying device which can be propelled by a pusher and its propulsion mechanism, which abuts the rear end edge of a veneer veneer while drying it.

(Conventional technology and its problems) In general, veneer veneer immediately after cutting with veneer lace contains moisture with a moisture content of 60 to 100%, so it cannot be used as is, and it must be dried to reduce the moisture content to 20%. It needs to be dried to a certain extent. For this purpose, the so-called hot air ventilation drying method has been used in the past, in which the veneer veneer is fed into a hot air drying oven, but this method has low thermal efficiency, and the veneer veneer gets distorted during drying, resulting in poor quality. It was difficult to obtain these products.

However, in this type of heating plate, an endless stainless steel belt is interposed between the heating surface of the fixed heating plate and the movable heating plate and the veneer veneer to be dried.
Heat transfer to the veneer veneer was poor, and the endless belt could be damaged by heat if used for a long period of time, making maintenance difficult.

Furthermore, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 50-37279 discloses a veneer drying device consisting of a fixed heating plate and a movable heating plate that can approach and move away from the heating surface of the fixed heating plate. With such equipment, there was a problem in that the loading and unloading of the veneer veneers was not smooth and continuous operation was not possible, and the heating plate was contaminated with resin, causing the veneers to become dirty.

Furthermore, Japanese Patent No. 172490 discloses a veneer veneer drying device that includes a fixed heating plate and a movable heating plate and conveys the veneer veneer by a U-shaped sliding frame. However, this drying device also reciprocates intermittently to bring the veneer veneers in and out of the fixed heating plate, and the loading and unloading of the veneer veneers lacks smoothness, making it difficult to carry out continuous and smooth drying operations. In addition, there was a problem in that the heating plate was contaminated with resin and the veneer was soiled.

Further, the pusher 11 shown in FIG. 4 is composed of a spring plate, and its cross-sectional shape is such that its tip opens in the direction opposite to the direction in which the pusher 11 moves. The tip portions are adapted to come into sliding contact with the heating surfaces 2 and 3 of the fixed heating platen 1 and the movable heating platen 4, respectively. Such a pusher 11 has a cleaning effect of effectively removing rust, tar, etc. on the heating surfaces 2 and 3 as it advances while slidingly contacting the heating surfaces 2 and 3.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, since the veneer veneer to be dried is directly sandwiched and heated between the fixed heating plate and the movable heating plate, good heat transfer is achieved. The drying time can be shortened. In addition, since the pusher is brought into contact with the rear end of the veneer veneer to be dried and pushed out, the veneer veneer can be reliably introduced and delivered between the fixed heating plate and the movable heating plate, and the heat By constantly cleaning the surface of the board, it is possible to prevent staining due to resin adhering to the surface of the heated veneer board.
