The pressed flower manufacturing method (hereinafter referred to as the conventional method) developed by the applicant first places collected flowers 1 on paper or cloth 2 impregnated with a desiccant, and then places a breathable cushion material 3 on top of the collected flowers 1. A laminate in which paper or cloth 2 impregnated with a desiccant is further layered is wrapped in a moisture-proof sheet 4, and the package is dried under pressure for several days to perform primary drying. After the first step (see Fig. 1A), the primary dried flowers 1' are placed on a breathable cushion-like pressed flower mount 6 with a breathable bag 5 containing a desiccant placed on the back side. After arranging it in an appropriate shape and overlaying the hard transparent plate 7 on top of it to form a laminate, the laminate is placed in an airtight transparent bag 8 with high moisture resistance, and the bag 8 is pressed from the outside to remove the internal air. The traditional method for producing pressed flowers consisted of a second step of sealing the water in an evacuated state (see Figure 1 B), but this traditional method required several days for the primary drying in the first step. Not only does it take a lot of time and effort to make, but as a result, the surface of the flower is uneven, and when you look at the finished pressed flower, the transmitted light is diffusely reflected between the hard transparent plate and the flower, making the flower look white. In addition, when moving to the second step, the dried flowers may be taken out of the moisture-proof sheet and transferred to the pressed flower mount, which may cause the flowers to lose their shape or damage thin petals. Therefore, it had to be handled with care. In addition, in the conventional method, anhydrous calcium chloride was used as a desiccant agent, which caused the problem of deliquescent properties.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks and problems by arranging collected flowers in an appropriate shape on a breathable cushion material layered on a strong desiccant, and then overlaying a hard transparent plate on top of it to form a laminate. After that, the laminate is stored in an airtight transparent bag with high moisture resistance, and the bag is pressed and sealed with the inside evacuated, thereby producing a pressed flower. It is.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings.
Fig. 2 is an explanatory diagram of an embodiment of the method for directly producing pressed flowers of the present invention. From the bottom of the figure, there is a breathable bag 10 containing anhydrous magnesium sulfate as a strong desiccant, and a pressed flower mount on top of it. A breathable cushion material 11, collected flowers 12 are placed on top of the cushion material 11, and a laminate consisting of a vinyl chloride board or an acrylic board, which is a transparent hard board 13, is placed on top of the cushion material 11, which is highly moisture-proof and airtight. Insert the bag 14 into the bag 14.
Press strongly from the outside of the bag 14 toward the opening 15 from the opposite side to the opening 15, sufficiently exhaust the air inside the bag 14, and heat-weld the opening 15 while pressing the laminate. to produce pressed flowers. Note that 15' in FIG. 3 is a heat-welded portion of the opening 15.

In the present invention, unlike the conventional method, flowers are placed directly on a pressed flower mount without first drying them to produce pressed flowers.
As in the above example, it is assumed that a strong desiccant such as anhydrous magnesium sulfate is used as the desiccant, and this anhydrous magnesium sulfate does not have the problem of deliquescence like the anhydrous calcium chloride desiccant used in the conventional method. , it can become a hydrated product with up to 7 water molecules per molecule at room temperature, and can absorb most of the water from flowers in a few days and maintain a dry state for a long time, making it perfect. Pressed flowers will not change color or fade for more than three years.

As described above, according to the method for directly producing pressed flowers of the present invention,
The flowers and the hard transparent plate dry while they are in close contact with each other, and even after drying they remain in close contact with each other, and there are no irregularities on the surface of the flowers, so the finished pressed flowers have a sense of transparency even when viewed through the hard transparent plate. It has the excellent effect of being close to the natural appearance seen in the wild, and the production process is simple, requiring no special care and can be produced in a short amount of time.
