械を用いなくてはならなかつた。いずれにしても
従来の摩擦杭固定工法は大型の機械を必要とする
ため工費が大となる欠点があつた。加えて、凹部
に砂を入れたりする手間が要つた。また、砂を介
して杭と地盤との隙間をなくしているため、地盤
との摩擦は十分に得られ難かつた。更に、杭先端
部が打ち込み易いように尖つているため支持杭と
しての安定性はなかつた。

等を充填してもよい。つまり、膨脹剤が高価であ
るため、膨脹拡大させようとする部分以外の所に
は安価なコンクリート等を充填するとよい。ま
た、膨脹剤とコンクリートとをミツクスして杭内
に注入することも考えられる。
