である。(b) Prior Art Conventional continuous envelopes consist of multiple continuous sheets of paper, e.g.
The continuous paper for the front layer, the continuous paper for the back layer, and at least one sheet of continuous paper for saddle stitching are stacked one on top of the other, and each envelope unit is adhesively sealed along its edges, and then each unit is A burst was generated in each envelope area to create a sealed envelope. However, in this conventional envelope, the exterior of the envelope body and the saddle binding piece on which information is to be processed are glued together, so a part of the finished envelope body must be opened. However, the inner saddle binding strip cannot be immediately removed, and the bag must be opened along at least three sides in order to view the information on the saddle binding strip. Further, in this conventional envelope, since an adhesive layer is provided on the saddle-stitch continuous paper to be subjected to information processing, thermal printing such as non-impact printing processing by a computer is not possible. Furthermore, since conventional envelopes burst after each continuous sheet is sealed, they are not suitable for envelopes that enclose a single-piece saddle-stitched piece in advance.

In addition, the second feeder 35 has a continuous paper holder 39 for holding the continuous paper and a group of appropriate guide rollers 37, as shown in FIG. A pin tractor 38 is installed through the pin tractor 38. A first burster 40 for separating the continuous paper 1 into envelope-forming pieces 5 is provided on the transport path of the continuous paper 1 for forming an envelope body. The burst envelope forming piece 5
is guided by a drive roller 41 and introduced into a holding mechanism 42 for holding the envelope forming piece 5 at a predetermined position. The holding mechanism 42
holds the envelope body forming piece 5 in a state generally perpendicular to the insert piece 17 which is fed out in a horizontal state by an insert piece sending roller mechanism described later, and on the insertion line of the insert piece. The envelope body forming piece 5 is positioned and held so that the horizontal fold line 6 of the envelope body forming piece 5 is located at the . The holding mechanism 42 is provided with a detector for detecting a state in which the envelope forming piece 5 is held in a fixed position. Furthermore, a pair of gripping rollers 44 having gripping openings 43 opened so as to align with the transverse fold line 6 of the envelope forming piece 5 are provided downstream of the holding mechanism 42 . On the other hand, the continuous paper 14 for insertion is sent out by the pin tractor 38.

Therefore, it is possible to simplify the equipment part related to manufacturing the envelope body exterior. In other words, the feeding means for sending out the continuous paper can be simplified, and in addition, by simply detecting the presence or absence of the envelope body forming piece in the envelope body forming piece holding mechanism, the inserting piece can be moved based on the detection signal. Since it is configured to be sent out, it does not require complicated adjustment or timing means, and in that respect as well, it can be said that the device can be simplified. Furthermore, the apparatus of the present invention comprises a series of envelope-forming continuous papers having an adhesive layer rationally according to a predetermined pattern;
A series of continuous papers for forming insert paper, which have no adhesive layer at all and are subjected to computer printing processing, are prepared in advance, and the former continuous paper is burst to form an envelope body folded in two horizontally. In connection with the sealing process of this envelope body, after bursting the latter continuous paper,
This is a manufacturing device for enclosing the envelope in a state in which it is not glued between the horizontal folds of the envelope. According to this device, the insert paper, which has undergone intensive information processing using a high-speed computer such as a non-impact printing processing machine, can be immediately printed by opening one side of the envelope while leaving it free inside the envelope. It is possible to continuously and mechanically form sealed envelopes that are reliably sealed in a manner that allows them to be taken out, and it can be said that this type of device is extremely effective.
