At this time, electricity is normally applied to the work by a hanger electricity supply method in which electricity is applied to the work from a power supply rail running along the conveyor via the hanger.

However, since the wheel arch portion is a curved surface, if the tip of the hanger is fixed, poor alignment will occur between the workpiece and the tip of the hanger. If painting is performed in the electrodeposition coating process, intermediate coating process, and top coating process with such alignment defects occurring, an electrocoating film may be formed on the tip of the hanger.
In addition, paint mist is applied and an insulating layer is formed. If a hanger with an insulating layer formed on the tip is used repeatedly as it is, the current flow between the work and the hanger will be poor, resulting in poor coating and electrolytic corrosion pitting of the work during the electrodeposition coating process. In order to avoid these inconveniences, the insulating layer formed at the tip of the hanger must be removed each time the hanger is used, but such work is cumbersome.

This skid is provided with a support for receiving the workpiece, and electricity is supplied through this support. Since it is impossible to adapt the shape of the skid support to the shape of all workpieces, poor alignment occurs between the support and the workpiece. In this case, as in the case of direct gripping, a failure in energization will occur, leading to various inconveniences.

The upper leaf spring 31 and the lower leaf spring 32 are connected to each other at both ends with their centers separated, and are configured to exhibit rebound resilience against loads from above. The lower leaf spring 32 is fixed onto the support member 17 with a fastening member 33 such as a bolt. A conductive contact member 34 is attached to the upper surface of the upper leaf spring 31 to attach a fastening member 3 such as an anchor bolt.
It is fixed at 5. The contact member 34 and the support member 17 are connected by a conductive member 36 such as a lead wire. The energizing devices 30, 30 are attached to the support member 17 so that the contact members 34 thereof are along the wheel arch portion of the workpiece 7. The contact member 34 is pressed against the wheel arch portion of the work 7 by the repulsive force of the leaf springs 31 and 32 when the work 7 is held by the hanger 4, and is brought into close contact with the work 7.
In this way, electricity can be properly passed between the hanger 4 and the workpiece 7 via the contact member 34, the conductive member 36, and the support member 17.

Since the structure is such that the contact member 34 is pressed into contact with the repulsive force of 1.32, the contact member 34 can be brought into close contact with the curved surface of the wheel arch, and the fixed support attached to the tip of a conventional hanger can be used. It is possible to completely prevent the occurrence of problems such as poor current flow due to poor alignment of the curved surface of the wheel arch and the support tool, resulting in poor coating, and electrolytic corrosion pitting in the energization method using tools, and it is possible to obtain coated products with good finishing quality. .
Furthermore, when the workpiece 7 enters the electrodeposition bath, buoyancy acts and the workpiece 7 floats up, making it easy to separate from the support. When this is the case, the ability to follow up the lifting of the workpiece 7 is good.

This completely eliminates the problems caused by poor alignment between the workpiece and the support, resulting in poor coating, and electrolytic corrosion pitting caused by the conventional energization method using supports installed on skids. It is possible to prevent this and obtain coated products with good finishing quality. In addition, the contact member 34 is attached to the workpiece 27 with the plate spring 3.
Since the parts 1 and 32 are pressed into contact with each other, the lifting of the workpiece 27 when entering the electrodeposition bath can be easily followed. Furthermore, since electricity is supplied between the hanger 23 and the workpiece 27 via the contact member 34,
The supports 28 and 29 need only have a support function, and are easy to design.
