提供することを目的とする。

においては、左右の側部間で内面から突出する脚

製モールデイングの脚部を含む端末部分を長手方
向内側に沿つて所望長さ切欠除去し、その切欠部
と残余の端末部分にエンドキヤツプの成形樹脂を
接合すると共に、一部をモールデイングの長手方
向内面側に延在させて脚部を切欠除去した残余部
分までも覆うエンドキヤツプをインジエクシヨン
成形で一体に固着成形し、これと同時に切欠部に
形成するエンドキヤツプ個所の内面にクリツプを
嵌込み固定する凹部を設けるようにされている。

レス金型を用いることができ、切除後はモールデ
イングMの端末部分には脚部m4が部分的に残さ
れている。次に、この一部を切除した端末にはイ
ンジエクシヨン成形でエンドキヤツプEを形成す
る。その成形にあたつては、金型L1,L2の内部
にモールデイングMの端末側を挿置して型締め
し、キヤビテイ空間内に樹脂を射出するよう行う
ことができる(第7図参照)。この射出樹脂に
は、モールデイングMの本体表面側を被覆成形し
た樹脂と同一のPVC樹脂を用いるとよく、モー
ルデイング端末の広面積な断端面に溶着して確り
固着させることができる。また、この樹脂はモー
ルデイングMの端末から長手方向内側に延在させ
て一部残した脚部m4の内面側に被せ、しかも脚
部m4の左右で断端縁近くの内面をも被せる樹脂
層e1として形成することにより相互に完全に溶け
合つて互いを強固に接合できるようになる(第8
図参照)。なお、その射出樹脂とモールデイング
Mの芯部とが良好な相溶性を示さないときは芯部
側の内面に接着剤を予め塗布するとよい。

の凹部e2にエンドキヤツプEの硬化後にクリツプ
Cを接着剤で固定する(第9図参照)。また、こ
のモールデイングMの車体Bに対する取付けは第
4図示の場合と同様に片側の側部m2と脚部m4
の間で車体Bのフランジを挾持し、クリツプCを
車体Bのパネル面より突出したスタツドSの頭部
で掛止めるよう行うことができる(第10図参
照)。そのクリツプCを介してスタツドSでモー
ルデイングMを車体Bのパネル面に止着するとき
には、クリツプCを嵌着固定した凹部e2がモール
デイングMの内面で長手方向に位置するから、長
手方向の引張力に対してのみでなく、車体B側へ
の引張力に抗しても充分に対抗し得て安定した取
付けを行うことができる。

能なクリツプを備えて車体のパネル面に取付け得
るからモールデイングの使用耐久性を向上するも
のである。
