ことはまれであつて、多くの場合、建築現場に到
着する前に道幅が狭くなつて大型貨物自動車は通
行不能に陥る。そこで従来はクレーン車を以つて
大型貨物自動車上の住宅ユニツトを中小型貨物自
動車の荷台へと積み替えを行なつていた。その積
み替え作業を行なうためにクレーン車が入れるよ
うな広い場所を確保しなければならないし、また
そのために住宅ユニツトを工場から建築現場へ輸
送するための費用が増大すると共に輸送時間もか
かり輸送効率を向上させる上で問題となつてい
