(Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a powdery waterproofing agent that is added to cement mortar and the like to impart waterproofness to the hardened product thereof. (Prior Art) Conventional waterproof mortar has been made by coating or impregnating aggregate such as river sand with a water repellent and mixing it with cement. However, because the particle size of the aggregate is large,
It was incomplete to obtain waterproofness down to the cement part, and the waterproofness of the mortar as a whole was poor. (Problems to be Solved by the Invention) It has been desired that a waterproof mortar has a water absorption rate of 10% or less when immersed in water for 24 hours after curing. (Means and effects for solving the problems) The present invention is a powdery waterproofing agent characterized by adding a solvent-type silicone water repellent to bentonite and drying it. Bentonite has swelling, viscosity,
It is a clay mineral with unique properties such as caking properties due to its main constituent mineral, montmorillonite, and is usually used in a fine powder form. The waterproofing agent of the present invention is
It is obtained by adding to this bentonite a solvent-type silicone made of organic silicone using kerosene or an organic solvent as a solvent, and drying the bentonite. (Function) Bentonite has high absorbency of liquid water repellent,
Since it can be easily dried, the water repellent can be uniformly dispersed. (Example) An oil-based solvent-based silicone containing organic siloxane as its main component, with a solids content of 80% (solvent-based silicone water repellent A) and a solids content of 50%.
Using (solvent type silicone water repellent B),
A powdered waterproofing agent of the present invention was prepared. For comparison with those of the present invention, a paraffin-based water repellent with a solid content of 45% (paraffin-based water repellent A), a water-soluble silicone water repellent with a solid content of 40% (paraffin-based water repellent B), and a water-soluble silicone water repellent were prepared. A water agent (solid content: 50%), calcium stearate, etc. were added to bentonite to create a powdered waterproofing agent as shown in Table 1.

[Table] These test specimens were cured in the air for 5 days, dried in a dryer at 105℃ for 24 hours, and immersed in water. The water absorption rates were measured after 1 hour, 5 hours, and 24 hours. It was measured. (Effects of the invention) The results are shown in Table 3, and the water absorption rate of samples to which waterproofing agents other than the powdered waterproofing agent of the present invention were added after 24 hours in water was 10% or more, and that of samples without additives was 10% or more. It has a waterproofing effect that reduces water absorption by only 5% compared to other materials. On the other hand, the powdered waterproofing agent according to the present invention showed a waterproofing effect with a decrease in water absorption of 7% or more due to the synergistic effect of bentonite and the solvent-based silicone water repellent, and Sample No. 4 and Sample No. The water absorption rate of the product is significantly smaller than that of the other products regardless of the immersion time, and its waterproof performance is an effect not found in conventional products.
