Previously, a rhythm transmission device using skin stimulation was proposed that converted electric power proportional to the instantaneous amplitude of sound into mechanical vibration. A diaphragm driving device is driven by electric power, and the intensity, rhythm, etc. of sound are transmitted to the human body via the diaphragm that is in contact with the skin of the body. This device converts incoming sound into an electrical signal, then converts it into mechanical vibration proportional to that signal, and transmits the vibration to the human body. This method requires a plate driving device, etc., and has the disadvantage that the device is complicated and expensive.

The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks and provides a simple and inexpensive rhythm transmission device using skin stimulation by supplying a modulated wave corresponding to the intensity and rhythm of the sound to the human body. An incoming sound sensing device consisting of a converter that converts incoming sound into an electrical signal, a smoothing circuit that converts the electrical signal of the incoming sound into a rhythm signal corresponding to the rhythm of the incoming sound, and a low frequency carrier wave. The present invention is characterized in that it comprises a modulation circuit that modulates the wave with the rhythm signal, and an electrode that is connected to the modulation circuit and that contacts or pierces the skin of the human body in order to supply the modulated wave to the human body.

and a smoothing circuit 3-B connected to it,
4 is a carrier wave generation circuit, which is formed by an unstable multivibrator, and whose frequency is set to a value of about 100Hz to 1KHz. 1 is a modulation circuit that gives a temporal change to the carrier wave to include a rhythm signal corresponding to the rhythm of the incoming sound, and 2 is an electrode that provides electrical energy to the human body by outputting a modulated wave, which is used in general low-frequency treatment equipment. It uses something similar to what is currently used, and touches or pierces the human skin.

Note that by adjusting the resistors 9 and 10 of the amplitude modulation circuit 1 and the bias voltage to appropriate values, the transistor 8 can be kept in an on state at all times. At this time, the time constant of the carrier wave generation circuit 4 is appropriately selected, the frequency is selected to be within the range used by the low frequency treatment device, for example several hundred hertz, and the carrier wave is used for the low frequency treatment. Furthermore, if a carrier wave of the above frequency is used when there is incoming sound, therapeutic effects can be expected as well as the rhythm and strength of the sound.

In this way, according to the present invention, the incoming sound is composed of a converter that converts incoming sound into an electrical signal, and a smoothing circuit that converts the electrical signal of the incoming sound into a rhythm signal corresponding to the rhythm of the incoming sound. A sound sensing device, a modulation circuit 1 that modulates a low frequency carrier wave with the rhythm signal, and a device connected to the modulation circuit 1 that contacts or pierces the skin of the body in order to supply the modulated wave obtained from the circuit to the human body. Since it is equipped with an electrode 2 that can be used by a hearing-impaired person, it is possible to detect the rhythm of the sound through skin sensation, replacing the sense of hearing. This has the advantage that the device is simple and can be manufactured at low cost. Furthermore, when used as a low-frequency therapy device by a person without hearing impairment, receiving the therapy while sensing the rhythm of the sound can be expected to increase the effect of the therapy alone.

In addition, if you use visual devices such as television receivers and video recorders, as well as conventional tactile hearing aids that use mechanical vibrations, you can enjoy the effects of sound even more because you have both visual and electrical skin sensations. For people with hearing impairments, electrical skin sensation and tactile sensation can be used as an alternative to hearing to assist in sound detection.
