To achieve this objective, the present invention provides electrodes that constitute numerical segments that change in units of time such as seconds to hundredths of a second, and picture patterns that constitute or display pictures with various meanings. The electrodes are electrically connected via a lead pattern.

In FIG. 2, electrodes a, b, d, and e are formed so as to face the pattern 3, and in order to combine with the pattern 3 to display one meaningful symbol "2".
and g. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3 above, a voltage is also applied to each electrode of the picture pattern 5 that is electrically connected to the electrode of the number segment 4 necessary for displaying the number. The pattern will change as the number is displayed. For example, in the case of the number "1", a voltage is also applied to the electrodes 5b and 5c of the picture pattern 5 connected to the electrodes b and c of the number segment 4, and a stick-shaped picture and a car picture shine between the two children. appears (Figure 5). In addition, in the case of number "2", electrodes a, b, d, e, g of number segment 4

A voltage is applied to d, 5e, and 5g, and a picture pattern 5 forming a pattern of two children, or a picture pattern 5 displaying a meaningful display by itself, and a seconds display segment 4a or a one-percentage second display segment 4b. One digit of numeric segment 4 is shown. One electrode 5a of this picture pattern 5
is the electrode a of number segment 4 with the lead wire 6a.

It is electrically connected to e, f, and g. Each electrode 5a to 5g of the picture pattern 5 is connected to each lead wire 6a to 5g.
It is formed by providing a pattern in which 6g is cut out.

Therefore, when the portion of the pattern 3 that does not change and the electrodes 5a to 5g of each of the pattern patterns 5 are superimposed, the result is as shown in FIG. 4. By the way, in order to display numbers using the electrodes a to g of the number segment 4 shown in FIG. 2, the number segment 4 shown in FIG.
Each electrode will be used. For example, to display the number "1", electrodes b and c should be connected, a stick-like pattern shining between the numbers, four hearts, a wallet with a ¥ symbol attached, and a feather attached to the bet. A picture of a woman lying down appears (Figure 6). In this manner, as the number display of the number segment 4 changes, the pattern changes in accordance with the relationship between the numbers and the electrodes shown in FIG. 3. In addition, the numbers "4, 5,
6, 8, 9, 0'', the electrode 5f of picture pattern 5 represents a broken heart.

Therefore, the owner of the watch can enjoy watching the pattern change as the time changes, and can also use the pattern for fortune-telling by looking at the pattern at any time. For example, if you write in the instruction manual that the picture for the number "1" mentioned above, that is, the shining stick-like picture means "wish will come true", and the picture of a car means "be careful of cars", When the number is ``1'', it is a fortune telling that ``Your wish will come true, but be careful of cars'', and when the number is ``2'', it is a fortune telling that ``you will find a lover'' due to the 4 hearts.
The instruction manual states that the picture of a wallet with a ¥ symbol and the fact that the wallet has wings means "money comes in, but it comes out quickly" and that the picture of a woman lying on a bed means "be careful not to get sick." If you keep this in mind, when the number is 2, your fortune will tell you that you will find a lover who will fulfill your wishes, but you will have a lot of money coming in and going out, and be careful of illness. In this case, if a stop watch function is provided for driving the numeric segment 4, the time display will be stopped and the picture display will also stop, making it easier to see. This is particularly effective when the picture pattern 5 is connected to the display segment 4b which displays the time in 1/100th of a second using this stopwatch function.

Although the above embodiment has been explained using a single digit segment of the number segment 4, the number of pictures can be increased by connecting several digit number segments with a picture pattern within the display area of the display device. Needless to say.

As explained above, according to the present invention, by using a simple configuration in which a number segment and a picture pattern are connected by a lead pattern, various meanings can be expressed in units of time such as units of movement or units of one-hundredth of a second. Since the picture pattern can be displayed while changing, it is possible to provide a novel display device at a low cost, which pleases the viewer's eyes and at the same time allows the change in the picture pattern to be used for fortune-telling.
