A photographic image 3 is formed on the back side of the .
As the photographic body base 2, a transparent heat-resistant synthetic resin film is used. That is, after photo body 1
The material must have heat resistance so that the photographic body base 2 will not be deformed and the photographic image will not be distorted during the process of embedding it in the card base material 5 by applying heat and pressure. During this burying process, the temperature is approximately
Since it is buried under conditions of 150°C, pressure of 150 kg/cm 2 , and time of 5 minutes, materials such as polyester, acetate, and polypropylene are suitable as materials that can withstand such conditions. Also, if the thickness of the photographic body base 2 is too thick, the card base material 5 will be damaged when buried.
Since the deformation of the material becomes large, it is not preferable to use a material that is too thick, and a sheet having a thickness of 30 μm to 120 μm is used.

An example of a photographic method is to take a photograph of the face on commercially available color or black and white photographic film.
Develop to form a photographic image. In this case, since the transparent film base on which the photosensitive material layer on which the photographic image of the photographic film is formed is coated becomes the photographic body base 2, a transparent heat-resistant resin such as polyester, acetate, or polypropylene is selected. Used for film-based materials.

(manufactured by Dainippon Ink & Chemicals KK) or the like is used. On the other hand, as the card base material 5, any material can be used as long as it is made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin material that can be molded by heating, but polyvinyl chloride has particularly good moldability and is suitable for embedding the photographic body 1. It is a preferable material for the card base material 5 because it has less influence on the surroundings and less distortion occurs. This card base material 5 is made by adhering oversheets 8, 8 on which printed images 7, 7 are formed by so-called reverse printing to both sides of a center core 6 made of, for example, a bone-white polyvinyl chloride sheet. The printed images 7, 7 display predetermined information such as the purpose of use of the card, the name of the issuing company, and precautions for use.

The heating and pressurizing conditions depend on the material of the card base 5, the thickness of the photographic body 1, etc., but the temperature is approximately 130°C.
~160℃, pressure 120~160Kg/ cm2 , time 3min~
The photographic body 1 can be embedded in the card base material 5 as shown in FIG. 2 for 15 minutes, and the surface of the card base material 5 and the surface of the photographic body 1 can be aligned.

In other words, compared to the conventional method, forming a photographic image such as a face photograph on a card is simpler with fewer steps, and the photographic image can be easily formed, and the formation of this photographic image is the final process of card issuance. If a press machine is installed at the counter of a credit center or bank, cards with a photo image can be issued at the counter, which is extremely convenient and also eliminates variations in card quality. It can be issued in small quantities and at low cost.
