ポート9及び湯流出ポート10は、図示のよう
に、弁室Bの軸芯方向に沿う孔壁で、かつ、互い
に同一直線上の位置に開口している。第2の弁室
Bと前記両吐出口4,5とは前記弁室Bの軸芯方
向両端に形成された流出口11a,12aと紙面
の裏側を通る各別の通路11,12を介して連通

された切欠きで、該切欠き17aを介して水が調

よつて閉塞されるため、いずれの吐出口4,5か
らも湯水は吐出しない。又、この止水状態におい
て、両流出ポート9,10は各別に閉塞されるか
ら、水が給湯器側へ逆流することは全くない。従
つて、弁体18を回動して図A又はBの状態から
図Cの状態に或いはその逆に切換えることにより
流路の開閉が行なえる。また図Cの状態から弁体
18を回動すれば、閉塞が次第に解かれ、前記両
ポート9,10が第1或いは第2の空間部18
c,18d(回動方向によつて異なる)と少しづ
つ連通するため、吐出口4又は5への流出量が
徐々に増加する。逆に図A又はBの状態から弁体
18を回動して図Cの状態に移行させれば、前記
吐出量は徐々に減少する。即ち、この操作によつ

いるため、構造が簡単になり、これによるコスト
ダウンを期待でき、しかも、回動と押引きといつ
た方向の異なる異質な操作が不要になり、操作に
とまどうことがなくなり、かつ、吐出量の調整等
を行なう際に、不意に湯水の混合比率(温度)が
