B. Prior Art Dyeing padders are used to dye continuously supplied fabrics. In the dyeing process using dyeing padders, it used to be the case that large lots of one color, as long as 10,000 meters, were dyed in large lots, but recently the dyeing process has been adapted to accommodate the production of a wide variety of products in small lots. Because of the dyeing lot
It is often set at around 500 to 1000 meters. The moving speed of the fabric in the dyeing padder is approximately 60 to 100 meters/minute, so if the dyeing lot is set to 600 meters per color, the dyeing time will be only 6 to 10 minutes. do not have. On the other hand, after finishing processing for one dyeing lot, the dye bath of the padder is cleaned,
It usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes to supply a new dye solution for a subsequent dyeing lot into a dye bath that has been cleaned. That is, the preparatory work time is nearly twice as long as the dyeing operation time, and therefore the productivity of the padding process is significantly impaired. However, some technical proposals have been made for the purpose of solving the problems associated with such conventional pads. For example, in the Sendai Keizai Shimbun published on January 1, 1981, the body of the padder and the inside of the dye bath are automatically cleaned during the approximately 3 minutes that the guiding cloth connecting between the fabrics passes through. A padder is described which is designed to carry out dyeing preparation operations such as supplying fresh dye liquor and cleaning the guide rollers of the dryer. This padder is composed of a two-stage reversible dye bath lifting device, a solenoid valve for switching between liquid supply and cleaning, and a microprocessor. Each is configured to occupy a different operating position. By attaching such an operating position exchange mechanism to the dye tank, the preparation time for the padder was considerably shortened compared to a conventional padder, but this padder did not require repeated use of a single dye tank. Because of the method adopted, it was impossible to overlap the washing time and the supply time of new dye solution, and it was virtually impossible to shorten the preparatory work time to 3 minutes or less.

5,15', excess dye liquid is removed, and the dye is being supplied to a subsequent process (not shown) such as a drying process. At this time, the second dye bath 2' located at the second preparation liquid supply position P 2 below the dye bath 2 is secondarily cleaned by the wash water supplied from the wash water supply pipe 5. Thereafter, a dye liquor preselected in accordance with the dyeing program is being supplied into the dye liquor tank via the dye liquor supply pipe 4. Moreover, at this time, since the dye liquor tank 2 is absent at the first preparation liquid supply position P 1 , the dye liquid supply pipe 4 provided at this preparation liquid supply position P 1 is connected to the dye liquid tank 23 . is shut off by the switching valve 28. During this time, the interior of the dye liquor supply pipe 4 completes washing with washing water and air purging with a compressed air flow by switching the switching valves 20 and 24, and prepares for the next supply of new dye liquor. On the other hand, the dye liquid from the operating liquid supply pipe 6 flows into the first dye liquid tank 2 suspended at the dyeing position D via the receiving plate 25 and is controlled by the liquid level control valve 21. The fabric 3 is impregnated with the dye while maintaining a substantially constant height of the dye solution level. When pad dyeing for one dyeing lot is completed, the supply of dye liquor from the operating liquid supply pipe 6 is cut off by operating the switching valve 27 of the selected dye liquid tank 23, and the operation liquid supply pipe is switched off. 6
is communicated with the switching valves 20 and 24. In this state, the dye liquor tank 2 is lowered onto the dye liquor tank support plate 9 by activation of the lifting means E as shown in FIG. Primary cleaning is performed using cleaning water supplied from That is, the wash water switching valve 24 is selectively opened and the wash water is supplied to the areas contaminated with the dye liquid (front guide rolls, etc.) through the plurality of water fountains 18 branched from the wash water supply pipe 26. At the same time, cleaning water is also jetted from the operation liquid supply pipe 6 to clean the receiving plate 25, dye liquor tank 2, etc. After the cleaning is completed, the cleaning water switching valve 24 is closed, the corresponding switching valve 20 for compressed air flow is selectively opened, and the operating liquid supply pipe 6 and the cleaning water supply pipe 26 are purged with air. still,
In the above-mentioned primary washing, in order to speed up the discharge of the used dye liquor, the drain valve 23
It is preferable to open it. In addition, in order to reduce the washing time to the maximum, it is also possible to move the first dye bath 2 from the dyeing position D to the dye bath support plate 9 at the same time as the pad dyeing for one dye lot is completed.
It is desirable to start cleaning just before the descent begins. Furthermore, during the primary cleaning, it is preferable to repeat cleaning and air purging of the inside of the liquid supply pipe 6 intermittently multiple times to more completely clean the inside of the pipe. This repeated washing is carried out in order to prevent the next new dye liquor from becoming even slightly contaminated by residual dye liquor from the previous one. Further, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, while the first dye bath 2 is being subjected to primary washing, the washing water supplied from the water supply pipe 16 is used to wash the padding rolls 15, 15'.
It is also possible to wipe off the dye adhering to the guide rolls, etc. in a subsequent process, for example, a drying process, by washing the guide rolls and feeding a wet guiding cloth at the same time.

While pad dyeing according to a new dyeing program is in progress with the dye liquor in the second dye liquor tank 2', the first dye is transferred to the first preparatory liquor supply position P1 . In the liquid tank 2, secondary washing and new dye liquid are injected in the same way as in the second preparatory liquid supply position P2 . That is, secondary cleaning of the dye bath 2 with wash water supplied from the wash water supply pipe 5 provided at the first preparation liquid supply position P1 , and air purging in the pipe with a compressed air flow. After this is completed, a new dye solution is supplied into the dye solution tank 2 from the dye solution supply pipe 4, and the preparation operation for returning to the dyeing position D is completed. On the other hand, during this period, the dye liquor supply pipe 4, which has finished supplying the dye liquor at the second preparatory liquor supply position P2 , is transferred to the preparatory liquor supply position P1 while the dye liquor tank 2' is absent. Cleaning and air purging are carried out in the same manner as when cleaning the dye, in preparation for the next dyeing program.

E. Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above explanation, according to the method of the present invention, part of the cleaning time of the dye bath and the injection time of new dye solution can be made to overlap with the fabric dyeing operation time. The working time can be reduced to about 1 to 2 minutes per lot.
Along with this, by connecting the fabrics to be redyed and the fabrics with a guide cloth of an appropriate length,
The fabric can be run continuously without stopping the entire process. Moreover, the length of the guide cloth required in this case is sufficient for running for 1 to 2 minutes, so that the loss of the guide cloth can be reduced. Therefore, the productivity of the padding process can be maintained at a good level even in the recent dyeing process of small lots of various products.
