る。このカバー24と霜付着板22との間隔は、
小さすぎると霜がすぐカバー24にまで達してし
まい、大きすぎると霜の付着量が大きくなつて冷
却能力が低下するので、通常10〜30mm程度が望ま
しい。またカバー24には冷気を通過させるため
の多数の通気孔25が穿設されている。この通気
孔25としては円形の丸孔、矩形あるいは細長い
スリツトなどが考えられる。
