We are proposing a cable with a structure in which paired twisted sections and parallel fused sections are sequentially provided in the longitudinal direction.

ことにより接続を行つている構造のものである。 It should be noted that the collective press-fitting type connector is a well-known connector that has been used conventionally, and has an upper connector portion in which U-contacts 12 are arranged at predetermined intervals as shown in FIG. By fitting the upper connector part and the lower connector part to the parallel fusion part of the flat cable, the U contact 1
2 breaks through the insulator of the core 4 and makes contact with the conductor 1, thereby making the connection.

Therefore, when providing a flat cable with a mass displacement type connector, the flat cable must first be manufactured, and then the mass connector must be mated, which requires two steps. Ta.

ある。 Figure 1 shows the cross-sectional shape of this parallel welded part, and after arranging the cores in a mold at predetermined intervals, the cores are fused using heat fusion, high frequency, electric energy such as ultrasonic waves, etc. , the insulator 2 is melted and flowed in the width direction, and adjacent cores are fused together.

The method includes a twisting process of sequentially providing a paired twisted part and a parallel part on each of a plurality of cores, a process of gathering the cores into a predetermined width, a process of regularly arranging the cores of the parallel part, and a batch pressure welding process on the aligned part. A method for manufacturing a flat cable with a one-shot pressure-welding connector, characterized by sequentially providing steps for attaching connectors.

である。 In other words, the length of the cable varies depending on the usage conditions, but for cables of a certain length, it is possible to achieve strict precision by directly installing a bulk press-fit type connector on the cable in the cable production line without providing a parallel fusion part. It is possible to omit the process of fusing the parallel welded parts, which is required, and the manufacturing thereof is extremely easy.

Pair twisting is performed by pulling the nozzle with a winder while rotating the nozzle at a constant number of revolutions.

The reversal prevention jig is a jig, such as a grooved roll, that sandwiches the core from above and below to prevent the core of the parallel part from reversing due to the untwisting of the paired part. , with the core in a state where the nozzle rotation has stopped, the parallel parts are aligned so that they can be attached to the collective pressure welding type connector.
