この発明は設置床面積の小さい、縦長タイプの

近年、居住スペースを有効に利用するため、屋
内器具の小型化が進んでいるが、ガス燃焼器具に
おいても例外ではなく、設置床面積が小さい、縦
長タイプのガス燃焼器具のためには炎口負荷の大
きなバーナー、すなわち、炎口面積に比して大イ
ンプツトの燃焼を可能とするバーナーが望まれる
が、従来かかる要望を満たすものとして、ブラス
ト式バーナーが知られている。しかし、この方式
のバーナーでは圧力空気をバーナーに供給する装
置を必要とし、当然器具費、運転費が高価につ
き、且つ騒音の増加が避けられず、家庭用として
は難点があつた。一方、炎口負荷が大きく、しか
も逆火しにくいブンゼン式バーナーとして円筒状
の混合管先端の炎口に、金網や格子等のスリツト
を設けたものも知られているが、燃焼速度の異な
るガス種変換に際して、ユニバーサル性に欠ける

ともに、混合室3の上部からバーナ筒4の上端部
にかけての外周に僅少の間隙aを存して筒状のス
リーブ7を被覆固定して、混合室3の上部からバ
ーナ筒4の上端部にかけての外周に形成された環
状の空間を袖火用ガス通路8とし、その上端開口
部を前記主炎口5を囲繞した袖火用炎口9とな
し、前記袖火用ガス通路8の下部と混合室3の上
部を数個の通孔10で連通せしめて混合室3内の
ガスの一部をこの通孔10を介して狭小のガス通
路8′に導入し、袖火用炎口9に袖火b′を形成す
るようにしたものである。ここで袖火用炎口9は
必ずしも連続した環状のものに限定するものでは
なく、その形状は任意である。なお、図中11は
ガス噴出用ノズルで、一次空気流入口1に臨ませ

方、混合室3から通孔10を介して袖火用ガス通
路8に導入されるガスは、通孔10から噴出する
と狭小の面積のガス通路8′のスリーブ7に衝突
して後上方に導かれ、この上方部において断面積
の増大に伴い減速減圧され、袖火用ガス通路8を
ゆつくり上昇し袖火用炎口9に袖火b′を形成す
る。したがつて、この安定した袖火b′で主炎bを
補助するから炎口面積に比し大インプツトの燃焼
が可能であり、即ち燃焼速度の速いガスに対して
はフラツシユバツクに強いこの種のバーナ特有の
効果が得られるは勿論、袖火により燃焼速度の遅
いガスで発生するリフト現象にも耐え、また、燃
焼速度の速いガスを大量に噴出して大インプツト
燃焼時に起きがちなリフト現象にも耐えうる。よ
つて、炎口面積の小さいバーナーですべてのガス
種に対して大インプツト燃焼が可能である。実験
の結果によれば、燃焼室の単位面積当りで従来の
ブンゼン式バーナーのほぼ2倍のガス量の燃焼が

トが有効に作用するので、従来の同一炎口面積の
ブンゼンバーナーでは考えられない大量インブツ
トの燃焼を可能ならしめるものであつて、換言す
れば同一インプツトでもより一層燃焼平面積の小
さいガス燃焼器具を提供し得て、しかもブンゼン
式であるから極めて安価で安定性に富むガスバー
