る電気的な溶解装置が幅広く採用されてきた。ま
た誘導溶解では撹拌作用が有るため溶解金属が良
質なるものが得られることも大きな利点である。
しかし誘導溶解にて短時間で溶解すると言えども
溶解時に溶解材料が大気と接触し酸化する他に、
溶解金属材料中に含まれている不純物等がスラグ
となり、溶湯の上に浮き上がつてくる。このスラ
グは金属によつては意識的にある程度発生させ、
溶解材料の酸化をそれ以上発生しない様に有効利
用する場合もあるが、この場合でも鋳型等に溶湯
を出湯する場合は、このスラグを除去し出湯を行
なつている。このスラグ除去作業は現状では人為
的作業に頼らざるを得なく、作業者が杓状の用具
を手にし、スラグを取除いている状態である。こ
の為作業者は溶湯近くに行かざるを得なく、高温
の危険な状態にさらさなければならない欠点があ
り、また人手による為効率の良い作業が行えない
という欠点があつた。

fにウオームギヤー6a,6bを取付けると共に
ベアリング5c,5dで昇降架台5aに固定すれ
ばウオーム6bをモーター等で回転させれば旋回
架台3aは施回する。以上を有する旋回装置3
と、シリンダ8と軸受7d及びシヤフト7cにて
車輪7bを取付けた横動架台7aを有する横動装
置7とこれを支えるレール架台10、さらにシリ
ンダ8のロツド8aの先端にヒンジ8dを取付
け、これをガイド5bを有する昇降架台5aと連
結し、シリンダー8にて昇降を行なう昇降装置5
から成るものである。

3dは揺動してスラグ2aを押し分け溶湯2の内
に没入する。第3図鎖線の状態からシリンダー8
にて昇降装置5を上昇させると第4図の如くな
る。この時、溶湯2の上に浮いていたスラグ2a
はすくい上げられスラグ取り具3dの上に取除き
スラグ2a′が積載される。そして横動装置7の車
輪7bをモーターやシリンダー等で回転させ第5
図のごとく横動装置7をスラグ積載用移動台車9
の上まで移動させる。スラグ積載用移動台車9の
頭上にきたスラグ取り具3dをシリンダー4にて
第5図鎖線にて示す如く状態にすればスラグ取り
具3dの上に載つていた取除きスラグ2a′はスラ
グ積載用移動台車9の内に収容される。この状態
からウオーム6a,6bによつて旋回装置3を旋
回させ第2図と同様な状態に移動装置7を誘導溶
解炉1の上まで移動させた状態を第6図実線で示
す。(第6図は第2図に対して旋回装置3を180゜
旋回させた状態を示す。)以下前記のごとく第3
図から第5図にて述べたことゝ同様の動作を行な
うことにより溶湯2の上に浮遊しているスラグ2
aをすくい上げ充分取除くことが可能である。ま
た第7図の如く旋回装置3の旋回架台3aに電極
(又は熱電対)20を取付台21にて取付け溶湯
2の上面2yに対してスラグ取り具3dの上面が
最適寸法だけ沈む様h2、h1を調整しておけば電
極(又は熱電対)20がスラグに接触した状態を
検出可能となり、この信号にてシリンダー8を動
作させれば昇降装置5は溶湯2の高さに関係なく
自動的に動作させることが可能となる。さらにス
ラグ取り具3dは第8図に示す如く耐火材や金属
にて縁のある穴3yのあいた皿状に構成しておけ
ばスラグ2aを取除く際溶湯も一緒に取除くこと
はなくなる。尚スラグ取り具3dを傾動させた状
態でスラグ取り具3dの一部を溶湯2の内に入れ
旋回させればスラグが一箇所に集められる。尚上
記実施例における旋回装置5はウオーム6a,6
bの変わりにゼネバ装置やピニオンラツクをまた
はレバーを用いシリンダーのストローク動作で旋
回を行なうことも可能である。さらに昇降装置7
はシリンダー8の変わりにスクリユーやロープに
て昇降を行なうことも可能である。
