In addition, based on the operation command from the common control device CC, the trunk drive device TC operates the relay ST.
W operates according to the type of signal tone sent. Figure 1b shows the combination of signal sound transmission types and relay STW operation patterns. For example, based on the operation command from the common control device CC, the transmission register ORT is
If DT sound is to be sent to the handset, relay T
is operated by the trunk drive device TC, and thereafter magnetically held until recovery control is performed from the trunk drive device. The DT sound output from the signal sound generator SG is t
3 of relay A via make contact and s break contact
It is sent to the telephone via the next winding. The dial impulse from the telephone is received by relay A, and the on/off operation of contact a is read by the common control device CC via the scanning device SCN. When stopping the transmission of the DT sound, the relay T is restored from the trunk drive device based on a restoration command from the common control device CC. (In this case, restoration of relay T is accomplished by passing a reverse operating current from the trunk drive to the coil of relay T.) The common controller CC also sends a series of dial impulses to the scanning device SCN. When the called telephone is busy or the link line is busy, the data is read from the calling register trunk ORT to the telephone.
When transmitting a BT sound, the trunk drive unit TC operates the relay S based on the operation command from the common control unit CC, as in the case of DT sound transmission, and the BT sound output from the signal sound generator SG is t. The signal is sent to the telephone via the break contact, the s-make contact, and the tertiary winding of relay A. Ringing tone (RBT)
and stop sending out music on hold (HT) as described above.
Since it is the same as DT sound and BT sound, the explanation will be omitted.
(The relay and STW are operated according to the corresponding combination pattern in Figure 1b.) As explained above, in the conventional method, a combination of relays for signal sound selection is required depending on the type of signal sound to be transmitted. The generation device also had drawbacks such as the need for wire rings, amplifiers, interrupters, and inter-generation devices in order to obtain the output according to the type of signal tone.

This is performed by a switch installed in the trunk that changes the state of the trunk, and a common control device controls the switch according to the type of signal sound to be sent depending on the intermittent period of the signal sound according to each connection state. provides an economical method for transmitting signal tones and will be described in detail below.

る。 Now, when a telephone is connected to the terminals NA and NB via the network NW, the loop circuit of the telephone activates relay A and closes contact a, causing the common control unit CC to connect the telephone via the scanning device SCN. Read the off-hook status of Then, based on the operation command of the common control device CC, the trunk drive device TC
The relay S operates, and the signal sound (400Hz) output from the signal sound generator SG is sent to the telephone via the tertiary winding of the relay A via the S make contact. In this case, from the outgoing register ORT to the phone
Assuming that the DT sound is to be transmitted, the common control unit CC issues an operation command to the trunk drive unit TC to operate the relay S, and thereafter, at a cycle of 120 times per minute, to restore the operation of the relay S. Issues an operation or recovery command to the trunk drive unit TC. As a result, the relay S operates intermittently at a cycle of 120 times per minute, so the signal tone of the signal tone generator SG (400Hz)
The output is sent to the telephone via the s-make contact and the tertiary winding of relay A, where it is heard as a DT sound. The dial impulse from the telephone is relay A.
The intermittent operation of contact a is received by the scanning device.
Read by the common control unit CC via SCN. DT
When the sound transmission is to be stopped, the common control device CC stops the periodic operation and recovery command sent to the trunk drive device TC 120 times per minute. In addition, when the common control unit CC reads a series of dial impulses via the scanning device SCN and then sends a BT tone from the calling register trunk ORT to the telephone while the called telephone is busy or the link line is busy, the DT tone In order to restore the operation of relay S at a cycle of 60 times per minute from the common control device CC as in the case of transmission〓〓〓〓
Then issues operation and recovery commands to the trunk drive unit TC. As a result, the relay S operates intermittently at a cycle of 60 times per minute, so the signal tone of the signal tone generator SG (400
Hz) output is sent to the telephone via the s-make contact and the tertiary winding of relay A, and is heard as a BT sound. In addition, when the called telephone is idle and sends a ringing signal tone and RBT to the calling party, the common control unit CC sends an operation recovery command to the trunk drive unit TC to restore the operation of the relay T at a cycle of 20 times per minute. Let's do it. As a result, similar to the DT tone, the signal tone (400/20Hz) output from the signal tone generator SG is sent to the telephone via the tertiary winding of relay A via the T-make contact.

成りうる利点がある。 As explained above, in the embodiment, the common control unit CC operates and restores the trunk drive unit TC in accordance with the intermittent cycle of the signal sound to be sent according to each connection type (DT sound transmission, BT sound transmission, SDT sound transmission). The signal tone generator SG only needs to generate a continuous fundamental frequency (400Hz in the example) because it sends a command and causes the relay in the trunk to operate intermittently to send out a signal tone, which is not necessary for conventional signal tone generators. The intermittent generators, interrupters for each type of signal tone, amplifiers, and relay loops that were previously used will be deleted. In addition, since the trunk requires only a relay combination pattern that selects only continuous basic signal sound sources, the number of combination patterns is reduced and the system can be configured with fewer trunk state switching relays, which has the advantage that it can be a very economical device overall. be.

Economic effects can be obtained. That is, in order to reduce the load on the paging signal generator, the paging signal is generally output by dividing the intermittent cycle into three phases. For this reason, the ringing signal generator requires an inter-generation circuit and an interrupter to obtain three-phase output, but by applying the present invention, the ringing signal generator can generate continuous ringing as well as sending out audible tones. Just generating the signal eliminates the need for an intermittent generation circuit or interrupter, and the division of the intermittent cycle to reduce the load on the calling signal generator requires the operation/recovery command from the common control unit CC to the trunk drive unit TC. This is achieved by sending the signal at a frequency that matches the phase output. Also, when changing the intermittent cycle of the ringing signal to notify the telephone of the type of incoming call, etc., the common control unit CC sends an operation/recovery command to the trunk drive unit TC in the same manner as described above, causing the relay in the trunk to operate intermittently. Since signals with different intermittent cycles can be sent out, it is possible to output a basic continuous call signal and to send out call signals with various intermittent cycles from one type of trunk.

Therefore, even if a signal tone with a new intermittent cycle is required, there is no need to add new hardware, and a flexible system can be provided.
