(Industrial Application Field) The present invention is used in raw material processing steps in the tobacco industry. (Prior Art) In the raw material processing process, prior to various treatments, a harmonic treatment is performed to apply heat and moisture for the purpose of preventing raw material from being crushed and removing tobacco habit.
This harmonization process was performed by passing the raw material through the harmonizer once. (Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the above-mentioned treatment method, although it is possible to reduce the habit, tobacco flavor components in the exhaust gas are discharged in the harmonization treatment process, and they have the disadvantage that they cannot be used effectively. (Means for Solving the Problems) An object of the present invention is to effectively utilize the tobacco flavor components described above. The gist of the patent is as set forth in the claims at the beginning. The present invention will be described in detail below based on examples. The process flow sheet used in the present invention is shown in FIG. 1. 1 is a feeder for tobacco raw materials relatively poor in flavor components, 2 is a first harmonizer, 4 is a feeder for tobacco raw materials relatively rich in flavor components, 5 is the second harmonizer, 6
is a silo. 3 is a conveying means for connecting the feeder 1 and the first harmonizer 2; 9 is a conveying means from the harmonizer 2; 7 is a conveying means for connecting the feeder 4 and the second harmonizer 5; The conveyance means 9 are merged. Reference numeral 8 denotes a conveying means that connects the second harmonizer 5 and the silo 6. The first harmonizer 2 and the second harmonizer 5 used have a structure as shown in FIG. 2, for example. The harmonizer includes a rotary cylinder 12 disposed on a drive roller 11 provided on a stand 10, a water spray nozzle 13 and a steam spray nozzle 14 disposed inside the front end of the rotary cylinder 12, and It has a non-circulation exhaust duct 16 connected to an exhaust fan 15 from the rear end. 2nd above
The harmonizer 5 may have a non-circulation type exhaust duct as a circulation type exhaust duct. (Function) Tobacco raw materials with relatively poor flavor components are fed to feeder 1.
In the first harmonizer 2, the tobacco is water-sprayed from the water-spraying nozzle 13 and then steam-sprayed from the steam-spraying nozzle 14 to remove tobacco habit. This waste is discharged to the outside of the conditioner through the exhaust duct 16. The conditions for the hydrostatic spray treatment and the steam spray treatment are set so that the product temperature after the conditioner is 50 to 100°C and the moisture content is 15 to 30% W.B.
The tobacco raw material processed by the first harmonizer 2 is combined with the tobacco raw material relatively rich in flavor components supplied from the feeder 4 on the conveyor 7, and then supplied to the second harmonizer 5. In the second harmonizer 5, water is sprayed from the water spray nozzle 13, and steam is sprayed from the steam spray nozzle 14. The conditions for the above-mentioned hydrostatic spray treatment and steam atomization treatment are set so that the temperature of the tobacco raw material after conditioning is 30 to 60°C, and the moisture content is 15 to 35% W/B, although it varies depending on the mixing ratio etc. Ru. In the second harmonizer 5, some of the texture of the tobacco raw material, which is relatively rich in flavor components, is removed, but at this time, some of the flavor components are also volatilized. A part of the volatilized flavor components is mixed with the tobacco raw material relatively rich in flavor components and transferred to the processed raw material of the first harmonizer 2 which is supplied to the second harmonizer 5. Second
The processed raw material of the harmonizer 5 is sent to the silo 6 by the conveying means 8 and stored therein. (Example) Yellow tobacco raw materials were divided into two, one with relatively poor flavor components and the other with relatively rich flavor components.
It is processed in the first harmonizer to make it 25% W・B, and after combining with 200 kg/hr of tobacco raw material which is relatively rich in flavor components, it is processed in the second harmonizer at 30℃ to make it 18% W・B. The treated products were stored for 3 hours and then presented as cigarettes to a panel of 10 sensory experts. As a control, a tobacco raw material relatively poor in flavor components and a raw material relatively rich in flavor components were separately harmonized according to a conventional harmonization method, and then mixed in the same ratio as the sample. The results are shown in Table-1. It is clear from this that although there are individual differences, the processed product of the present invention enriches the aroma and taste of tobacco compared to the conventional method.

[Table] (Effects) As mentioned above, in order to avoid having a negative effect on the tobacco raw material which is relatively rich in flavor components, the present invention uses a first harmonizer to remove the characteristics of the tobacco raw material which is relatively rich in flavor components in advance. The raw material processed by the first harmonizer is mixed with the raw material relatively rich in flavor components, and then harmonized in the second harmonizer under conditions where the flavor components are difficult to volatilize, thereby producing the flavor from the tobacco raw material relatively rich in flavor components. This is because it harmonizes the components while preventing them from volatilizing into the exhaust gas, and also allows some of the flavor components volatilized from the tobacco raw material, which is relatively rich in flavor components, to be transferred to the tobacco raw material, which is relatively poor in flavor components. The flavor components of tobacco raw materials, which are relatively rich in flavor components, can be used effectively,
It is useful in the tobacco industry because it provides a harmonized product with good taste.
