端面に設けられたシールプレートで、このシール
プレート6は、熱交換器3を流通する風量をより
多くする為に風が熱交換器3を通らず上方へ通り
抜けることのないように設けられている。7はク
ロスフローフアン4の舌部である。こうした従来
のクロスフローフアン4と舌部7と、熱交換器3
との構成では、ある高さを必要とする床置形の室
内ユニツトにおいて、舌部7の下端とシールプレ
ート6との間隔がほとんどない状態で構成され、
この構成で所定の風量を得るように設計されてい
た。ところが、所定の風量は得られても、騒音が
十分満足する騒音値にはならず、定格の騒音値に
満足せざるを得ないものであつた。又、これら騒
音は、耳障りな音である為に、不快感となる欠点

各々の仕切板18に沿つて、しかも、クロスフロ
ーフアン14の円周の一部分にのみ臨ませて設け

このように本発明によれば、従来と同じ、ある

のであるから、騒音値は僅かながら低下し、騒音
と共に発生していた耳障りな音もほとんど満足出
来る程に消滅したのである。又騒音値の低下と共
に、風量も僅かではあるが増加するなどの効果を
