DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention is for attaching a mounting frame to which a continuous wiring device, etc. is attached to a hollow wall having a space for accommodating electrical wiring, especially a hollow wall containing a filling material such as glass wool for heat insulation and sound insulation. It is related to construction methods.

In recent years, filling materials such as glass wool are often housed inside hollow walls in order to increase various effects such as heat insulation and soundproofing indoors, and accidents that may occur due to contact between wiring equipment and connection parts and the filling material are often avoided. In order to prevent this, it has become mandatory to provide a protective cover to prevent wiring equipment etc. from coming into contact with the filling material.

Furthermore, when fixing the wiring device mounting frame to a hollow wall using a protective cover or the like, generally the base of the L-shaped clamp 3 is attached to both ends of the mounting frame 2 to which the wiring device 1 is fixed, as shown in Fig. 1. A structure is used in which the panel wall 5 is clamped by screws 4 between the end portion and the clamping fitting 3, and in the installed state, the tip of the clamping bracket 3 is near the edge 7 of the mounting hole 6. There is a drawback that the panel wall 5 is crushed and the mounting frame 2 cannot be securely fixed to the panel wall 5.

The present invention was made in view of these problems, and it is an object of the present invention to enable an electrical contractor to easily attach a protective cover, and also to securely fix a mounting frame to a panel wall without crushing the panel wall. It is configured as follows.

An embodiment of the construction method of the present invention shown in the drawings will be described in detail below.

First, as shown in FIG. 2, a wiring device mounting hole 10 is bored at a wiring device mounting location in a hollow panel wall 9 containing a filling material 8.

Next, a protective cover 13 having a U-shaped cross section, which has legs 11 protruding from the bottom shown in FIG. 6 and horizontal protrusions 12 provided at the top and bottom ends of the front for contacting the panel wall 9, is shown in FIG. As shown, the wiring cable is inserted into the cavity 14 through the wiring device attachment hole 10 and held between the back surface 15 of the panel wall 9 and the filler 8 by the elasticity of the filler 8, as shown in FIG. 16 are inserted through the openings 17 provided on the upper and lower end surfaces of the protective cover 13 to be interposed on the surface of the protective cover 13.

Since the construction method of the present invention is as described above, an electrical contractor can easily attach a protective cover to a hollow panel wall containing filler material, and can also securely attach a mounting frame for wiring equipment without crushing the panel wall. Claims (1)

A protective cover is inserted into a wiring part of a hollow wall containing a filling material through a wiring device attachment hole drilled in the hollow wall, and a protective cover is inserted between the back surface of the hollow wall and the filling material. 1. A method for installing a wiring device, characterized in that the wiring cable is held by the elasticity of a filler between the protective covers, the wiring cable is then interposed on the surface of the protective cover, and the wiring cable is connected to the wiring device, and the wiring device is installed in a hollow wall. 2.
