本発明は、眼鏡用つまりレンズを保持する為の
リム線の製造方法に係り、特に断面U字形或いは
V字形の複合材から成るリム線の製造方法に関す

従来、この種のリム線の材料としては、Ni−
Cr系合金、Ni−Cr−Mn系合金、Ni−Cr−Cu系

金、洋白、モネル、12K、14K、18K等のAu系合
金、Pt系合金などから成る複合中実線が使用され
ており、これらの材料から眼鏡用リム線を製造す
るには、先ず第1図に示す丸線1aに被覆材1b
を被覆した複合丸線1をダイス引き加工により第
2図に示す如く凹みのない断面形状のリム線2に
成形し、その後このリム線2の上面中央部に徐々
に異形ダイスや異形ロールにて第3図に示す如く
凹み3を形成してU字型リム線4を製造してい
