て装置の小型化を図り、鋼片通過時には酸素バー
ナを点火し、非通過時には、酸素バーナを消火
し、高温保持用バーナのみを燃焼させるようにし
て、鋼片通過時には加熱室の輻射伝熱を有効に利
用することにより伝熱量の大きい鋼片端部急速加
熱装置およびその加熱方法を提供することを目的

よつてのみ行なうものでなく、加熱室の輻射熱を
有効利用するため、小型で従来のものより大なる
伝熱量が得られ、必要熱量を従来のものの1/3以
