DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a purification device for purifying water in bathtubs, fish farming tanks, etc., and uses a circulation pump whose discharge and inflow are reversed by forward and reverse rotation to create a backflow in the filter medium and purify the filter medium. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a purification device that automatically cleans and does not require maintenance for a long period of time.

In conventional devices, dirt and other dirt adheres to the filter media,
When the purifying function was exhausted, the filter medium was taken out, washed and reused, or replaced with a completely new filter medium. Therefore, it is necessary to always check the degree of contamination of the filter medium from the outside, and there is also the disadvantage that it is time-consuming to clean and replace the filter medium.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional filter by causing a backflow in the filter medium by forward and reverse rotation of the circulation pump, and in particular, generates a swirling backflow to perform automatic self-cleaning of the filter.

In the above configuration, the forward/reverse changeover switch 19 is opened and set in the purification direction, and the power switch 25 is closed. The circulation pump 5 rotates counterclockwise as indicated by the solid arrow, and the switching valve 6 is in the state shown in FIG. 5a. As a result, the bath water flows into the circulation path A7 and flows into the upper part of the purifier 1 from the first inflow path 3 of the purifier 1. The flow that has entered the purifier 1 is filtered with dirt and the like in the filter medium 2, and then flows into the second flow path 4 and the third flow path 10, and is inserted into the third flow path 10 and flows through the check valve 11. The water is then pressurized by the circulation pump 5 and returned to the bathtub 12. During this circulation process, contaminated water is purified in the purifier 1.

Next, the forward/reverse switch 21 is closed, set to the self-cleaning direction, and the power switch 25 is closed. The circulation pump 5 rotates clockwise as indicated by the dotted arrow, and the switching valve 6 is in the state shown in FIG. 5b. As a result, the bath water flows into the circulation path B9, is pressurized by the circulation pump 5, does not flow into the third flow path 10 in which the check valve 11 is inserted, and flows into the purifier 1 from the second flow path 4. do. The flow that enters the purifier 1 from the second flow path 4 enters from the tangential direction of the filter medium container 13, and thus flows upward while swirling within the container 13. Due to this swirling flow, the filter medium is pushed against the outer circumferential wall and rotates, resulting in an agitated state. (Fig. 6b), as a result, the dirt such as dust collected in the filter medium 2 is liberated and flowed upward on the swirling flow, and overflows from the outer periphery of the container 13 into the receiving container 17. . The flow entering the receiving container 17 containing dirt is passed from the first flow path 3 to the switching valve 6.
It passes through and is discharged to the outside from the discharge passage 8. During this backflow process, dirt such as dust collected on the filter medium 2 is discharged to the outside and is self-cleaned. In particular, due to the action of the swirling flow, dust is efficiently collected in the circumferential direction and taken out to the outside.

As is clear from the above description, the purification device of the present invention is a self-cleaning system in which the flow direction is reversed by forward and reverse rotation of the circulation pump, causing backflow in the filter medium, and in particular, generating swirling backflow.
It is easy to reverse the flow direction and simultaneously control the flow path switching valve, that is, to control the switching between purification and self-cleaning. Further, due to the swirling flow, dirt is quickly separated from the filter medium, centrifugal force acts on the dirt, and the dirt flows smoothly out of the filter medium container 13. As a result, effects such as less water being discharged to the outside during self-cleaning can be obtained.
