Conventionally, the decoration of laminated molded products made of glass fiber-reinforced plastics, etc. is done by printing on glass cloth or non-woven fabric and laminating them, but it is generally difficult to achieve beautiful decorations due to the roughness of the fabric. In addition, especially when the molded product has a curved or bent surface, such as a bathtub, the painted glass cloth or non-woven fabric is partially overlapped on the curved surface, so the color of the painting becomes darker and the pattern may become misaligned. There is a noticeable defect in the seams. Furthermore, when laminating painted glass cloth or nonwoven fabric, it is difficult to avoid entrainment of air, which may impair the physical properties of the molded product and cause distortion of the pattern.

The method for producing a painted laminated molded product of the present invention includes the step of providing a transparent or semitransparent curable resin layer on the surface of a mold, and transferring a transfer sheet with a pattern formed on a base sheet having many small holes to the curable resin layer. A step of placing the base sheet while it is uncured or semi-hardened and aligning it with the mold, a step of curing the curable resin layer and transferring the pattern from the transfer sheet to the resin layer, and peeling the base sheet from the cured resin layer. and a step of forming a protective layer on the painted cured resin layer.

In the present invention, the curable resin applied to the surface of the mold is not particularly limited, but it is usually a liquid transparent unsaturated polyester resin, a thermosetting acrylic resin, etc., and contains fillers, pigments, fibers, etc. It may be translucent. Usually, a mold release agent is applied before applying the curable resin to the mold surface.

The transfer sheet used in the present invention is formed by printing a desired pattern on a base sheet having a large number of small holes, after subjecting it to a mold release treatment using silicone or the like. The printing ink is preferably an oil-based ink that has an affinity for the above-mentioned curable resin and is easily transferred. The base sheet is preferably a plastic film such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyester film, polymethyl methacrylate, or paper. These base sheets have a pore size of
It is desirable to have 1 to 300 small holes of 0.1 to 3 mm per cm 2 . If the pores are too small or the density of the pores is too low, it will be difficult to release the trapped air when laminating the transfer sheets. On the other hand, if the pores are too large or the density is too high, This is undesirable because the transferred pattern may have missing parts.

The transfer sheet is placed on the resin layer while the curable resin layer is uncured or semi-cured and is in a liquid or sticky state, and is applied with a rubber roller, for example, to remove air between the transfer sheet and the resin layer. along the mold while letting it escape through the small holes in the transfer sheet. If the molded product has a curved surface, for example, two transfer sheets are pasted together using this curved surface as a boundary so that there is no misalignment of the images. The patterns on the aged transfer sheet are blocked by the lower transfer sheet and are not transferred to the resin layer, so the patterns do not overlap.

In this way, the transfer sheet is placed on the resin layer,
After curing the resin layer, if the base sheet is peeled off, the pattern can be transferred to the resin layer. A protective layer is provided on the pattern layer to protect the pattern layer. The protective layer is usually formed of a colored resin layer, a glass fiber reinforced plastic layer, glass fiber reinforced cement, resin concrete, etc., but is not limited thereto. After the protective layer is cured, the mold is removed to obtain a painted laminate molded product.

As described above, according to the method of the present invention, a transfer paper with a pattern printed on a base sheet having a large number of small holes is used, and this is placed on an uncured or semi-cured curable resin layer. The air trapped between the transfer paper and the resin layer can be easily discharged by the rolling pressure of a roller, etc., and as mentioned above, the patterns do not overlap, so it is possible to create a laminated molded product with a curved surface. It is also possible to create beautiful patterns with inconspicuous seams.

Example After applying a mold release agent to the mold, a transparent resin liquid consisting of 100 parts of unsaturated polyester resin, 1 part of methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, and 0.5 part of cobalt naphthenate was sprayed to a thickness of about 0.3 mm using a spray gun. This resin layer was heated at 40° C. for 15 minutes to make it sticky and semi-cured. Next, a transfer sheet with a marble pattern printed with oil-based ink on perforated paper that has been released from silicone is aligned with the shape of the mold, pasted on each side with the curved surface as a boundary, and rolled and pressed with a rubber roller to connect the transfer paper and resin. The transfer sheet was brought into close contact with the resin layer while air between the layers was discharged through the small holes of the transfer sheet. The perforated paper has a diameter of approximately 0.5mm.
A material having small holes with a pitch of 5 mm was used. Thereafter, the resin layer was heated in a heating oven at 60° C. for 15 minutes to cure it, and then the perforated paper was peeled off and the pattern was transferred to the resin layer.

After imparting a pattern to the cured resin layer in this way, a resin solution prepared by adding 10 parts of a white pigment per 100 parts of the unsaturated polyester resin composition is sprayed onto the pattern to a thickness of about 0.3 mm using a spray gun. Spray,
It was cured to form a protective layer. Further, a glass chopped strand mat is placed on top of this, impregnated with the pigment-containing resin liquid and laminated, and this operation is repeated 4 times.
After repeating the process several times, heat it in a heating oven at 60℃ for 30 minutes,
The resin was cured and demolded to obtain a bathtub-shaped laminate molded product.
