い。(Prior Art) Conventional straw packaging involves stacking long and thin straws in a narrow hopper, catching each of the straws one after another with a rotor attached to the outlet of the hopper, and also using a film that flows along the rotor. Since the straws were arranged and packaged on top, each straw was individually packaged in an elongated state. Straws wrapped in such a manner are likely to break due to external impact, and when attached as an accessory to the outer wall of a paper drinking water box, a portion of the straw may protrude above the paper box, causing breakage. Cheap.

It was difficult. In other words, since the bent straw loses its rolling function, it becomes extremely difficult to smoothly transfer the bent straw from the hopper onto the film. Therefore,
Conventionally, the straws were folded by hand and placed on a film by hand, and then wrapped mechanically, which made packaging inefficient.

A vacuum suction force is applied to each groove by the action of the vacuum source, and a first film is supplied to the lower surface of the drum, and the first film is drawn into the groove by the vacuum suction force. A supply source for the second film is provided so that the second film covers the reverse groove portion formed by the first film, and a supply source for the second film is provided so as to cover the reverse groove portion formed by the first film. A sliding plate is arranged on the sliding plate, and a chain conveyor with an attachment for supplying straw is provided along the gap formed in the sliding plate, and a tapered V-shaped chain conveyor is provided on both sides of the conveyor track in the direction of conveyance. A guide plate is provided, and a hopper for storing straws is provided at the end of the conveyor.

There are tapered guide plates on both sides of this transportation track that come into contact with both ends of the straw, so the straw is automatically folded in half from the bellows, and the folded shape is sucked into the groove of the drum. The reverse groove-shaped portions of the first film are fed one after another. The straw is then conveyed by the rotation of the drum, covered with the second film, and wrapped between the first film and the second film.

As shown in FIG. 3, an elongated gap 13 is formed in the sliding plate 12 in the direction of the drum, and a pair of guide plates 14, 14 are installed on both sides of the gap so that the width becomes narrower in the direction of the drum. A straw storage hopper 15 is installed in the wide part of the guide plate so as to be perpendicular to the gap 13, and a chain conveyor 16 is installed along the gap 13 and below the gap. There is. い利点がある。 In FIG. 3, each attachment 18 provided on the chain conveyor 16 corresponds to the reverse groove portions 27, 27 formed in parallel on the film F1 by the rotation of the chain. The straws A stacked in the hopper 15 are sequentially hooked from below and supplied to the reverse groove portion 27 of the film F1 . In this case, since the straw A is forcibly conveyed within the V-shaped guide plates 14, 14, the straw is automatically bent from the bellows portion and is supplied to the film in a bifold shape. In FIG. 2, when the attachment 18 is sliding on the upper surface of the track 20, its tip protrudes above the sliding plate 12 and hooks the straw A.
Once removed from the track 20, the attachment 18 loses its stability, so that the straw A is retained in the groove 4 of the drum. The straw replenishing conveyor 30 shown in FIG. 2 replenishes the straws A into the hopper 15 in a sequentially stretched manner. That is, in FIG. 6, each straw A is held by belt conveyors from above and below and is conveyed from right to left, but since the upper belt conveyors 30b, 30b are flared in the conveying direction, normally the seventh straw The straw A, whose bellows portion a1 is in a contracted state as shown in the figure, is stretched as shown in FIG. 9 while being conveyed by the conveyor. When a contracted straw A as shown in FIG. 7 is bent as shown in FIG. 8, the bending radius of the bellows portion a1 is small and this portion is likely to be damaged. However, when the straw A is stretched as shown in FIG.
As shown in the figure, the bending radius of the bellows portion a1 is large, and therefore the bending stress is not locally concentrated, so there is an advantage that the breakage rate is low.

品をリール25によつて巻取るものである。 As described above, when the straws A are sequentially fed into the reverse groove portion of the film F 1 in the form of two folds, the second film F 2 is superimposed on the lower side of the first film F 1 . Then, the overlapping portions of both films are welded to the sealing heating roll 22. As a result, the fifth
As shown in the figure, each straw A has two films F 1 and F 2
They are stored in parallel in a cavity 27 formed between them, and after sealing the openings at both ends of the cavity 27 with side seal rollers 23 and 24 to form a continuous packaged product, A continuous packaged product is wound on a reel 25.

While forming the reverse groove portion 27, a gap 13 is formed in the sliding plate 12 arranged on the lower side of the drum 1,
V-shaped guide plates 14, 14 are provided on both sides of the gap, and a hopper 1 for storing straws is provided so as to be perpendicular to the gap 13 at the wide part of the guide plate.
A chain conveyor 16 having a large number of attachments 18, 18, .
4, the straw A is automatically folded in half from its bellows part and supplied to the reverse groove part 27, so that it can be automatically packaged in parallel between two films. This makes it possible to package straws more efficiently than in the past, where workers fold and wrap straws by hand.
