The radio wave shield is constructed by providing a metal plate on one side of a shield substrate of a predetermined size, and the shield substrate is made of, for example, wood. Such a radio wave shield is attached to the inner wall of a room with its shield substrate, and for example, if the room is an anechoic chamber, a radio wave absorber such as styrene foam is provided on top of the attached radio wave shield. The radio wave shield has a predetermined size and shape, and therefore, during construction, it is attached to the inner wall surface of the room so that electromagnetic coupling between the radio wave shields is ensured. The radio wave shields are connected to each other using screws, for example.
This has the disadvantage that good shielding characteristics cannot be obtained in a high frequency region of 1 GHz or higher. To solve this problem, a method is used in which the joints between the radio wave shields are soldered on the entire surface, but this is difficult when there is a gap between the shields, so the method shown in Figure 1 is used. A similar method is being used.

FIG. 1 is a conventional example showing electromagnetic coupling between radio wave shields. In the figure, reference numerals 1 and 2 denote radio wave shielding bodies having predetermined dimensions and shapes, which are composed of metal plates 1b and 2b made of copper, for example, provided on one surface of shield substrates 1a and 2a made of wood or steel. Reference numeral 4 denotes a thin band-shaped metal plate having a width of about 50 m/m, and is arranged so as to close the gap 3 between the radio wave shields on the metal plates 1b and 2b of each shield. Band-shaped metal plate 4 and each metal plate 1b, 2b of the shielding body
and are soldered to each other through both side surfaces 5 and 5' of the band-shaped metal plate 4, thereby ensuring electromagnetic coupling between the radio wave shields.

According to the electromagnetic coupling described above, it is possible to obtain good shielding characteristics even in the high frequency range of 1 GHz or higher, but it is necessary to solder the entire both sides of the strip metal plate, so it is necessary to solder the radio wave shield. The drawback is that it is extremely time consuming and difficult to construct.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, the present invention aims to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art, and its purpose is to provide a method for electromagnetic coupling of radio wave shields that is easy to implement. To achieve this object, the present invention has a radio wave shielding structure that shields internal and external radio waves by attaching a radio wave shield made of a metal plate on one surface of a shield board of a predetermined size to the inner wall of a room. The electromagnetic properties of the radio wave shields are determined by placing the radio wave shields on the inner wall of the room with a predetermined gap between them, and by inserting metal wires into the gaps and soldering them, thereby electromagnetically coupling the radio wave shields to each other. It's in the joining method.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings.

FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of the electromagnetic coupling method for radio wave shielding bodies according to the present invention. Reference numerals 10 and 11 denote radio wave shielding bodies, which are constructed by providing metal plates 10b and 11b on one side of shield substrates 10a and 11a having predetermined dimensions and shapes, as in the previous example. The shield substrates 10a, 11a are made of wood, for example, and the metal plates 10b, 11b are copper plates, iron plates plated with tin, zinc, or the like. The ends 10b' and 11b' of the metal plates are folded into the end faces of the shield substrates 10a and 11a as shown.

Such radio wave shields are arranged and mounted on the inner wall of a room with a shield substrate so that a predetermined gap 12 (for example, 2 to 3 m/m) is created between the shields. A metal wire 13 is inserted into the gap 12 so as to connect the metal plates 10b and 11b of each shield. Therefore, the metal wire 1 inserted into the gap
3 is the end portion 10 of the metal plates 10b and 11b of each shield.
As shown in the figure, a taper is formed on the end face of each radio wave shield so that it is held between b' and 11b'. A copper wire or the like can be used as the metal wire 13, and a tin-plated copper wire is particularly suitable because it can be easily soldered. The gap 12 into which the metal wire 13 is inserted is further applied with solder 14, thereby ensuring electromagnetic coupling between the radio wave shields. Therefore, according to the present invention, since the gap 12 is filled with solder, the conventional effort can be halved.

Furthermore, as a means for holding the metal wire at the end of the metal plate of each shielding body, the end of the metal plate (10
b' or 11b') may form a receptacle for the metal wire 13, and as shown in FIG.
A receiver 15 may be provided within the gap 12.
The receiver 15 can be made of plastic, wood, or the like. Note that in FIGS. 3 and 4, the same reference numerals as in FIG. 2 indicate the same parts.
