As shown in FIG. 3, which is a section A, a weather strip 4 made of soft resin, which was also separately molded, was inserted and fixed into a window frame 1 which was separately molded from an iron plate. The window glasses 2 and 3 are slidably inserted into the two grooves 5 and 6 of the weather strip 4, respectively, and the window glasses 2 and 3 are slidably inserted into the two grooves 5 and 6 of the weather strip 4. It prevented rainwater etc. from entering from both sides of 2 and 3.

Short fibers 9 are flocked by electrostatic flocking on the sliding contact surfaces of the side walls 7, 7 with the window glasses 2, 3, the top surfaces of the lips 8, 8, and the bottom surfaces of the grooves 5, 6 to prevent sliding contact with the window glasses. However, it was very difficult to flock the bottoms of the grooves 5 and 6 because the openings of the grooves were narrowed by the lip 8. In addition, since the window frame 1 required a considerable thickness of iron plate to provide strength, the grooves 5 and 6 could not be made sufficiently wide, and therefore the window glass 2 ,3
Since the lip cannot be protruded in the direction,
It had the disadvantage of poor sealing performance. Furthermore, the window frame 1 and the weather strip 4 had to be molded separately and then assembled by hand, which required extra work.

提供せんとするものである。 The present invention was proposed to solve the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and even if a thin plate such as stainless steel, which does not require painting, is used, the weather strip can be made of hard resin to provide sufficient strength. Since the window glass is made of hard resin, the process to promote the sliding of the window glass against the bottom of the groove of the weather strip can be omitted, and since the metal plate that makes up the outer surface of the window frame is made of a thin plate such as stainless steel, there is plenty of groove width to prevent weather To provide a window frame for a sliding door for a vehicle in which a lip can be projected from both side walls of the strip, the lip is made of a soft resin, and the waterproof effect can be sufficiently maintained.

Lips 18, 19, and 20 are integrally molded and protrude from both sides of the window glasses 2 and 3, respectively, to exert a sealing effect. The lip 18 is molded from a soft resin simultaneously and integrally with the inner wall 15, center side wall 16, and outer wall 17 of the weather strip 12, which are made of a hard resin, by the same molding machine. In addition, the top surfaces of the lips 18, 19, 20 that come in contact with the window glasses 2, 3 are covered with short fibers 2 by electrostatic flocking.
1 is flocked, and this flocking allows the window glasses 2 and 3 to slide smoothly in contact with the lip even if the lip is made of soft resin. In order to improve slippage, instead of flocking the short fibers 21, silicone resin or the like may be applied to the upper surfaces of the lips 18, 19, 20. Also, ABS resin or the like may be used for the hard resin part of the weather strip 12, but in order to mold the hard and soft resin parts so that they can be well joined together, they should be made of the same material, for example, both made of vinyl chloride resin. It is better to use The window frame 1 thus obtained is fixed to the window side portion of the vehicle body 22 via the adhesive layer 23 at its attachment portion 1a. Further, a cover (trim) 24 made of a resin material with a metal insert is formed on the outer surface thereof, and is covered by the cover 24 to prevent rainwater etc. from entering through the gap between the joint part of the body 22 and the window frame 1.

Then, adhesive is applied to the upper surfaces of the lips 18, 19, 20 by the gluing device 32, and the next electrostatic flocking machine 3 is applied to this adhesive part.
3, short fibers 21 are flocked, resulting in a cross section as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 7, a cover member 34 made of a soft resin is attached to the surface of the molded member exiting the resin molding machine 29 that will become the front side when used as a window frame of the outer member 10. This is to prevent the surface of the outer surface member 10, which is the front side of the window frame, from being scratched during the various processing steps shown in FIG. 8, but when the cover member 34 is in the position shown in FIG. Since it is no longer necessary, this cover member 34 is peeled off using a knife 35. In this case, the eighth
Cuts are made in the cover member 34 at parts a and b shown in the figure, and the cover member 34 is peeled off, and the upper part a becomes a cut surface that is exposed on the outside, and a part of the soft resin cover member 36 remains behind the lower part b. However, this cover member 36 is left in order to prevent the protrusion of the metal outer surface member from directly touching and damaging the body 22 when the window frame is attached to the vehicle body 22 as shown in FIG. It is something. The member formed in this way as shown in Figure 9 remains long, but is sent to the next process where it is cut to the size of the window frame, and then processed into the shape of the window frame as shown in Figure 2. Ru.

い。 As explained in detail above, in the present invention, the outer surface member having a cross-sectional shape as a window frame for a sliding door of a vehicle is formed of a thin plate made of stainless steel or the like, but the weather strip fixed to the upper surface of the outer surface member is substantially Since the pair of grooves are made of a hard resin with strength, the inner, outer, and center groove side walls can be made thinner. In addition, in order to improve the weather resistance of the hard resin and the appearance design of the window frame, the external members are fixed to the hard resin, but since they are reinforced with the hard resin, the outer members can be thin, and especially the central side wall. Since it can be made thinner by using hard resin, it has a remarkable effect on reducing the thickness of a window frame having a pair of grooves. Furthermore, since the outer surface member is a thin plate, it can be made lighter, and since the outer surface member is made of a material such as stainless steel that does not require painting, there is no need for painting unlike conventional iron plates.

Also, consideration has been given to reducing the width of the window frame. Furthermore, since it is reinforced from the side wall in the direction of elastic contact with the window glass, the lip has sufficient sealing force. In addition, since the weather strip was fixed to the thin plate at the same time as the molding,
The sealing performance between the two is improved, and water does not enter between the thin plate and the weather strip, which helps prevent the thin plate from rusting.

Since the lip surface that makes sliding contact with the window glass is the upper surface of the lip, it is easy to attach parts to improve sliding. Furthermore, since the bottom surface of the groove of the weather strip against which the bottom side of the window glass slides is made of soft hard resin, there is no need for the conventional hard-to-process processing such as flocking to improve sliding on this bottom surface. In addition, since the outer surface member is formed from a thin plate, there is more room in the groove width of the weatherstrip, allowing the lips to protrude from both sides of the weatherstrip, making it possible to further improve the sealing effect compared to conventional methods. can. Since the outer surface member is a thin plate, it is easy to form it into the cross-sectional shape of a window frame for a sliding door, and if the weather strip is automatically molded to be integrally attached to the outer surface member, the outer surface member and the weather strip can be easily formed. Compared to the case where the strips are individually molded and assembled, there is no need for manual assembly, resulting in significant labor savings.
