雑多様なパターン模様の塗装を行なうにはスプレ
ーガン9の数を増やす必要があるが、そうすれば
設備費が高くなると共に制御装置も複雑となるだ
けでなく高頻度、高サイクル使用下においてはス
プレーガン9の応答性および商品寿命に問題があ
る。

本発明を添付の図面に示す実施例に基づいて説明
する。第2図および第3図は本発明の一実施例を
示している。塗装ロール1の外周面には凸部2を
設けて、塗装ロール1にパターン模様を形成して
いる。この凸部2はフエルト、スポンジ、ブラシ
等の吸湿性および弾力性に優れた材質から形成す
るが、この実施例ではブラシを採用して形成して
いる。この塗装ロール1の凸部2に塗料を供給す
る塗料供給手段4はこの実施例では転写ロール4
1と中間ロール42とからなり、転写ロール41
の外周面が塗装タンク11内の塗料3に接触して
おり、この転写ロール41の外周面と中間ロール
42の外周面とが接触しており、一体的に回転駆
動される。中間ロール42の外周面が塗装ロール
1の凸部2と接触しており、塗料3を塗装ロール
1の凸部2へ供給する。塗料落下手段6としては
この実施例ではスクレーパ61を採用している。
スクレーパ61はスクレーパ調整ボルト16によ
り先端が塗装ローラ1の凸部2に喰い込むように

バフロー構造となつており、オーバフローした塗
料3は回収樋13を経て循環タンク14に回収す
る。塗装タンク11の塗装レベルが一定になつた
後転写ロール41を変速機付駆動モータ(図示し
ない)により駆動し転写ロール41に塗料3を転
写し、ついで中間ロール42に塗料3を転写させ
る。この後別の変速機付駆動モータ(図示しな
い)により塗装ロール1を駆動し、塗装ロール1
の凸部2にのみ塗料3を供給する。中間ロール4
2に転写した塗料3を塗装ロール1の凸部2に供
給する際にドクターナイフ15により供給する塗
料3の量を調整する。この場合ドクターナイフ1
5と中間ロール42との間隙を調整することによ
り、またはドクターナイフ15に切溝を設けるこ
とにより塗料3の供給量を調整してもよい。塗装
ロール1の凸部2に供給した塗料3はスクレーパ
61によりはじき飛ばし、飛ばした塗料3をロー
ラコンベヤ8により搬送された建築用板5上に塗
布し建築用板5に濃淡模様またはぼかし模様のパ
ターン模様付塗装を行なう。この場合スクレーパ
61により塗料3をはじき飛ばして塗装を行なう
のでパターン模様の輪郭をぼかすことができるの
である。またこの場合転写ロール41と塗装ロー
ル1との駆動部を別々にしているため、回転数を
変化させることにより建築用板5への塗布量を調
整すると共にパターン模様の流れ方向を変化させ
ることもできる。このようにして建築用板5に一
定量の塗装を施して均一なパターン模様を形成す
ることができるのである。図中17はタツピング
プレートボルト、18は軸受けである。第4図は
第1の発明の他の実施例であり、この実施例は塗
料落下手段6としてエアーガン62を採用した例
である。エアーガン62により塗装ロール1の凸
部2に供給した塗料3を常時吹き飛ばすことによ
つて建築用板5に常に一定量の塗料を塗布して輪
郭がはつきりしない濃淡模様またはぼかし模様の
均一なパターン模様付塗装を施すことができる。
なお本発明の装置により模様付した建築用板は、
たとえば多色艶消し瓦として用いることができ
る。
