Description
本発明は室内ユニツトの吹き出し制御方法に改
良を加えた空気調和装置に関し、快適で省エネル
ギーな運転を行なわしめることを目的とする。
従来の空気調和装置は風量可変ノツチ及び風向
変向装置等は有しているが、これら両者は各々独
立して動作するものであつて互いの関連がなかつ
た。またその選択が居住者にほとんど委ねられて
いたため次の様な欠点があつた。すなわち、例え
ば居住者が就寝時に壁掛型の空気調和装置により
冷房運転を行なつている場合、第4図に示す様に
送風機の運転が強ノツチで水平方向に吹き出せば
就寝時には床面付近のみ冷房すればよいにもかか
わらず第5図C′線に示すような室内温度分布を
形成して室内全体を冷房してしまうことになり、
省エネルギー的ではない。また、居住者が立作業
時に送風機の運転が弱ノツチで下向き方向に吹き
出すと、冷気は床面付近に停滞してしまい、第6
図a′線に示すような室内温度分布を形成して、室
内の上部は暑くなり、不快感を生ずるという欠点
があつた。さらにこれらの欠点に対して居住者は
送風機の運転ノツチと吹き出し方向をどの様に関
連して選択したらよいのかわからないのが通常で
あつた。
本発明は空気調和装置に生活パターン選択スイ
ツチを設け、これにより空気調和装置の風向変更
装置及び送風機の送風量を選択することにより、
上記従来の欠点を解消するものである。以下本発
明に一実施例について第1図〜第5図に基いて説
明する。第1図〜第2図において1は空気調和装
置の室内ユニツトで内部に熱交換器2及び送風機
3等を有する。吹出口4には風向変更装置として
ステツプモータ5の軸6に連結した風向変更板7
が設けられており、ステツプモータ5の一定の正
転又は逆転により、風向変更板7が回動して水平
方向又は斜め下方向に吹き出し方向を変更する。
第3図において居住者が就寝8a、椅座8b、
立作業8c等の生活パターン選択スイツチ8のい
ずれかを選択すれば、その信号が風向変更制御装
置9及び送風機回転数制御装置10に伝達されて
ステツプモータ5と送風機モータ12を制御する
ことにより、風向と送風量を同時に所定の値に保
つ。
この所定の値は次の表に示すように生活パター
ンが就寝8aの

り、室内は充分撹拌されてc′線に示すような室内
温度分布を形成して室内全体を冷房することにな
り、立つている居住者は身体全体に冷房に浴する
ことができる。
以上の説明から明らかなように本発明の空気調
和装置は生活パターンにより風向及び送風量を選
択するものであるから居住者の生活行為に必要な
室内の部分のみを冷房することができ、省エネル
