加工し、その後処理液の循環動作を停止して被加
工物の内部空間内の処理液を循環径路中の液溜め
へ戻すが、この時被加工物の内部空間を大気に連
通させなければ処理液は被加工物の内部空間から
なかなか流出しない。特に、めつき装置等におけ
るめつき前処理工程では、被加工物のめつき前処
理が完了すると同時に素早く被加工物内の前処理
液を排除し、次工程での水洗工程に移行しないと
前処理時間が過剰となり、めつき層の密着不良
等、工程管理上種々の不都合が生じる。このた
め、従来は被加工物に形成された穴、例えば被加
工物が内燃機関のシリンダの場合にはシリンダの
内部空間に通じる点火栓取付穴、に圧縮空気作動
弁装置を取付け、この弁装置に圧縮空気を供給し
て弁を開かせ、被加工物の内部空間を大気に連通
させ、シリンダ内の処理液を排除する様にしたり
していた。

る。又、弁装置自体耐蝕性の材質を使用しなけれ
ばならず構造も複雑になる為、高価でしかも故障
原因が多い。すなわち、弁装置の弁が処理液に触
れる構造になつているので弁装置が腐食されて誤
動作を起したりまたシール部の腐食によつて処理
液が弁装置から噴出する等の危険が生じ、更に被
加工物を弁装置作動用の圧縮空気のホースを付け
たままで動かさなければならず非常に不便であつ
た。

な合成樹脂製の栓8であらかじめ閉じられてい
る。又、シリンダ5の吸気孔15及び排気孔16
はエアシリンダ17,18で進退作動する盲栓1
9,20で密封されている。

治具2の環状通路10及び通路11は処理液をシ
リンダ5の内部空間6から液溜め(図示せず)へ
戻す処理液排出通路を構成する。固定治具2の側
部には一端を通路11に開口し、他端に遮断弁1
3を設けた通気管12が固着されている。遮断弁
13はこの場合電磁弁であつて通常は閉じている
が、電気的に附勢されると開いて通気管12内を
大気中に連通するようになつている。

長さがかなり短かくても動作上全く支障がないこ
とが判明している。

く同じ方法で行われる。又、めつき工程では直流
電圧の負側を被加工物固定シリンダ21の先端へ
正側を処理液通路9へそれぞれ接続し、めつきを
所定の厚みまで正確に電着させている。めつき工
程のめつき液の流路及び遮断弁13の配置等は図
示した実施例と全く同様である。
