Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は家具その他の各種建築板に使用される
表面に立体模様を有する化粧板の製造方法に関す
るものである。

従来から、金型を利用して立体成型化粧板を得
る方法は種々開発されており、本願出願人も先に
特願昭52−54616号として金型の内底面から上面
に亘つて化粧シートを添接したのちに金型内に発
泡性樹脂液と基板を順次挿入し、しかるのち発泡
性樹脂液を発泡硬化させて基板表面に化粧シート
により被覆された立体的な発泡樹脂層を設けてな
る化粧板の製造方法を発明したが、この方法によ
れば、基板表面全面に適宜厚さの発泡樹脂層を設
けて立体模様を現出するために発泡性樹脂液の使
用量が多くなると共に厚さも大となつて不経済で
あるばかりでなく、温度変化に対する寸法安定性
が悪く、その上、基板表面が全面的に適宜厚さの
発泡樹脂層で被覆されているために変化に乏しい
上に釘打ちで取付ける場合には発泡樹脂層が欠損
し、使用範囲が限定されるという欠点があつた。

に発泡性樹脂液を注入すると共に基板載置面の化
粧フイルム面に接着剤を塗布し、金型に載置する
基板の下面を該接着剤に密着させた状態で金型内
の発泡性樹脂液を発泡、硬化させることにより基
板と発泡樹脂及び化粧フイルムを一体化させ且つ
基板表面の立体模様部分を除く部分には発泡樹脂
層が設けられていない立体成型化粧板の製造方法
を提供するものである。

記化粧フイルム2の接着剤層5に密着させる。

ら、該周辺部を用いて釘着を行うことが可能とな

面に熱可塑性合成樹脂化粧フイルムを張設したの
ち、該化粧フイルムを加熱して軟化させ、軟化後
に金型内の空気を排除して金型の模様凹部内底面
から基板載置面に亘つて該化粧フイルムを密着さ
せ、次いで基板載置面に密着した化粧フイルム上
に接着剤を塗布すると共に金型の模様凹部内に所
定量の発泡性樹脂液を注入したのち、基板載置面
上の化粧フイルム上面に基板を載置し、金型内を
密封した状態で発泡性樹脂液を発泡、硬化させて
基板の周辺部以外の下面に化粧フイルムにより被
覆された発泡樹脂による凸模様を設けると共に基
板の下面周辺部に発泡樹脂を介することなく化粧
フイルムの周辺部を接着一体化することを特徴と
する立体成型化粧板の製造方法に係るものである
から、基板の全表面を被覆するようにして発泡樹
脂を層着させる方法と異なつて基板の周辺部等に
全く発泡樹脂層を設けていない化粧板が得られる
ので、発泡性樹脂液の使用量を少なくし得るばか
りでなく、化粧板の周辺部の厚さが基板と実質的
に同等の厚さとなつて該周辺部を用いて釘着や金
具による化粧板の取付けが容易に行えると共に釘
着時においても凸模様部を損傷させる虞れもない
ものであり、しかも基板周辺部と化粧フイルムと
は接着剤によつて一体に接着しているので、化粧
フイルムの剥離が生じにくい化粧板を得ることが
でき、さらに、発泡樹脂層表面から基板の露出面
に亘つて全面的に化粧フイルムで被覆された外観
が美麗な化粧板を製造できるものである。

加熱して軟化させ、軟化後に金型内の空気を排除
して金型の模様凹部内底面から基板載置面に亘つ
て該化粧フイルムを密着させ、次いで金型の基板
載置面に密着した化粧フイルム上に接着剤を塗布
すると共に金型の模様凹部内に所定量の発泡性樹
脂液を注入したのち、基板載置面上の化粧フイル
ム上面の前記接着剤層に基板の下面周辺部を密
着、載置し、金型内を密封した状態で発泡性樹脂
液を発泡、硬化させて基板の周辺部以外の下面に
化粧フイルムにより被覆された発泡樹脂による凸
模様を設けると共に基板の下面周辺部に発泡樹脂
を介することなく化粧フイルムの周辺部を接着一
体化することを特徴とする立体成型化粧板の製造
方法。
