Generally, when sprouting vegetables such as daikon radish are hydroponically cultivated in a seedling box, the seeds of the sprouting vegetable are first soaked in water for several hours, and then sown on urethane foam or the like in the seedling box. Next, the seedlings are allowed to germinate and grow to a certain length by covering the seedling box or leaving them in a dark room at an appropriate temperature for several days. After the sprouted vegetables have grown to a certain length, the lid of the seedling box is opened or taken outside to expose them to sunlight or artificial lighting, and they are grown in this condition for about the same number of days as in a dark room.
It has been shipped.

In order to use this sprout vegetable grower in cold regions, a heating device consisting of a fan 15 and a heater 16 is installed at the bottom of the vertical ventilation passage 17 provided on the back, and the air sucked from the upper part of the ventilation passage 17 is heated. The heated air is heated and sent to the lower dark room 2, and the heated air enters the upper light room 1 through the gap provided in the partition plate 3, and then enters the ventilation passage 17 again and is circulated, so that the temperature in the room can be maintained even when it is cold. Maintained at an optimum temperature of approximately 22°C to 27°C. Note that when the room temperature rises too high, such as in summer, a forced ventilation device (not shown) is used, and the room temperature is adjusted by forced ventilation.

Next, I will explain how to use the sprout vegetable grower.
First, the seedling raising box 7 in which seeds have been sown is placed on the shelf 18 in the lower dark room 2 with a lid on, and the seedling raising box 7 for sprouted vegetables that have already grown to a certain length in the dark room is placed on the stand in the upper lighting room 1. The pump 13 is operated at predetermined time intervals while maintaining the indoor temperature at the optimum temperature to supply a certain amount of water from the water supply nozzle 8 to each seedling box 7, and during the day, sunlight entering from above is used. Seedling box 7 in upper lighting room 1
feed it to sprouted vegetables for 2 days to promote greening.
It will be grown to a ready-to-ship condition in three days. In addition,
When the room temperature drops, such as at night in a cold region, the insulating door 5 is closed and the heating equipment is used to heat the room.
The room is maintained at an optimal temperature. On the other hand, lower darkroom 2
The sprouted vegetables in the seedling growing box 7 placed inside the seedling box 7 germinate therein and grow to a predetermined size within 2 to 3 days at the optimum temperature. The sprouted vegetables that have been grown to the point where they can be shipped are taken out of the upper light room 1 by opening the transparent sliding door 4 and taken out of the seedling raising box, and at the same time, the sprouted vegetable growing box 7 that has grown to a predetermined size in the lower dark room 2 is taken out.
are moved into the upper lighted room 1, and a new seedling raising box 7 in which seeds have been sown is placed in the lower darkened room 2, and sprouted vegetables are grown in the same manner as described above.

In addition, in the above embodiment, water for brine can be circulated using a water tank and a pump, but the pipe line 14 connected to the water supply nozzle 8 is connected to a water pipe, and the amount of brine is controlled by a solenoid valve. , the water collected in the gutter 9 may be drained.

As explained above, according to the sprout vegetable cultivator of the present invention, sprout vegetables can be germinated in a dark room and then grown in a lighted room in a single grower, respectively, in suitable conditions. It is possible to efficiently cultivate a large amount of sprouted vegetables with a small number of man-hours while effectively utilizing a narrow indoor space and reducing energy consumption.
