If the cutter is damaged while cutting the raw wood due to cutting stones, metals, or hard parts contained in the raw wood, significant damage may occur to the cutting surface of the veneer veneer, or the cutting becomes difficult. Therefore, attempts have been made to temporarily extend the life of the cutter by manually performing partial repair polishing, but if partial repair polishing is excessive or incomplete, it may have a negative effect on the cutting surface of the veneer veneer. As a result, the blade will ultimately need to be replaced.

Conventional knife devices use large, recyclable knives, and after removing damaged knives, they are re-sharpened and used repeatedly. However, it takes a considerable amount of time to resharpen the blade, and considering the number of times it can be resharpened and the cost of resharpening, the cost of maintaining the knife is extremely high. As the height of the blade inevitably changes as it is polished, it becomes necessary to adjust the installation height of the blade each time.
Even in the somewhat improved knife device disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 51-13757, there are many problems, including the trouble of adjusting the mounting height of the knife each time and the trouble of double crimping the knife. Since it takes a considerable amount of time to replace the rotary race, it is a negative cause of a significant decrease in the operating rate of the rotary race.

However, once installed, the usage time of the cutter tends to be longer, and various problems such as peeling of the cutting surface of the veneer veneer or spillage of the blade occur, which has a considerable negative impact on the quality of the plywood. There is a problem that is causing a problem.

That is, as is clear from FIGS. 1 to 6, the cutter device according to the present invention has a rake face 10 on at least one side of the blade, and the rake face 10 is arranged to face the log side. A small replaceable blade 3 having a standardized height and a side wall supporting the replaceable blade 3 at an appropriate angle 6 with respect to the cutting direction line 5 of the log 1 and at a constant height. 7 and a replaceable blade stop shoulder 4, and a replaceable blade support blade 9 that is fixedly disposed at the blade opening of the plane stand 2.
and a side wall 11 that is substantially parallel to the side wall 7 of the replaceable blade support blade 9 in the disposed state, and a replaceable blade pusher blade 12 that can be crimped to the replaceable blade support blade 9; It is constructed so that the replaceable blade 3 is held between the replaceable blade support blade 9 and the replaceable blade pusher blade 12 by pressure bonding alone.

According to the cutter device configured as described above, if the cutter is damaged due to cutting stones, metals, or hard parts contained in logs, the cutter can be replaced at any time to ensure that the cutter is not damaged. It is possible to perform good cutting, but since a small replaceable blade is used as the cutter, even if the replaceable blade is disposable, overall maintenance costs tend to be lower, at least compared to conventional There is no risk that the cost required for maintenance will be significantly higher than when resharpening and repeatedly using a recyclable cutter.

In addition, the blade supporting blade, which is fixedly installed at the blade opening of the plane stand, is equipped with a blade stopping shoulder that supports the blade at a certain height. By simply placing another standardized replacement blade on the replacement blade stop shoulder, the height of the cutting edge of the replacement blade will always remain constant, so you can easily remove the blade (replacement blade) each time you replace it.
There is no need to adjust the mounting height of the blade, and since the blade is held only by the crimping between the blade support blade and the blade push blade, there is no need to attach or remove the blade. Overall, the time required to change blades can be significantly shortened, and there is no problem of reducing the operating rate of the rotary race.

Of course, if the damage to the replaceable blade is minor, it is possible to temporarily extend the life of the replaceable blade by manually polishing the parts as in the past, but in any case, it is possible to make replacement easier and cheaper. By lowering the price, replacement frequency can be increased, which may cause various problems such as peeling or chipping of the cutting surface of the veneer veneer, which may adversely affect the quality of the plywood. It also disappears.

As is well known, in the case of conventional recyclable cutlery, the cutter is large and can be directly fixed to a planer stand using an embedded bolt, etc. It is also possible to adopt a so-called back mounting method in which the side without a blade faces the log side, but in the knife device according to the present invention, in order to use a small replaceable blade, Even if this mounting method is not adopted, there is no room for embedded bolts etc. to intervene on the raw wood side of the replacement blade, so it is virtually impossible to do so. By using a replaceable blade with the blade and arranging it so that the cutting surface faces toward the log side, there is room for the replaceable blade supporting blade or the replaceable blade pushing blade to intervene below the replaceable blade (on the log side). This makes it possible to secure and hold the replaceable blade by crimping, and from the standpoint of strengthening the support strength of the member located on the log side (replaceable blade support blade or replaceable blade pusher blade), it is possible to secure the blade on one side of the blade. It is preferable to use a single-edged replaceable blade that has a hook surface only on the edge. however,
The replaceable blade used in the cutlery device according to the present invention is not necessarily limited to a single-edged blade, and may be a double-edged blade as shown in FIG. 6, for example. , even if the blade has a double-edged blade with a hook surface 10 and a hook surface 14 on both sides, the inclination angle 15 and length of one hook surface 10 are determined by the inclination angle 16 and length of the other hook surface 14. In the case of a substantially single-edged blade that is set larger than the other side, it is preferable that the side of the rake face 10, which has a larger inclination angle 15 and a longer length than the other side, faces the log side.

A good range of the attachment angle 6 between the cutting direction line 5 of the raw wood 1 and the replaceable blade 3 is the angle of the cutting edge for a single-edged blade, and the angle of the blade edge for a double-edged blade as illustrated in FIG. Although it is difficult to decide uniformly because there is a correlation between the inclination angle 15 of the cutting surface 10 and the cutting edge angle 13, if the cutting edge angle of the replaceable blade is set to 20 to 25 degrees Celsius like a normal knife, then , approximately 14 to 30 degrees is appropriate.

Furthermore, since the above-mentioned replaceable blade support blade is fixedly placed at the blade opening of the plane stand, that is, it is always placed at a constant position, it basically does not require any height adjustment. It is sufficient to process it to a predetermined size and place it on the cutting edge of the plane stand, but considering the machining error of the cutting edge of the plane stand and the blade supporting blade, the height adjustment using the screw 8 is necessary as shown in each figure. It is preferable that the blade has a function such that the cutting edge of the replaceable blade can be adjusted to a position that satisfactorily adapts to the cutting conditions only at the time of initial assembly setting.

The apparatus illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 5 includes a replaceable blade support blade 9 fixed to the cutting edge portion of the planer stand 2 by a bolt 17, and a replaceable blade support blade 9 secured to the blade opening of the plane stand 2 by a bolt 23 via a support member 19. The replacement blade 3 is attached to the replacement blade support blade 9 at an appropriate angle 6 with respect to the cutting direction line 5 of the log 1 and at a constant height. A supporting side wall 7 and a replacement blade stop shoulder 4 are provided, and a long hole 20 is provided to enable height adjustment with a screw 8. Furthermore, a replacement blade pushing blade stop shoulder 22 is also provided. Positioning of the blade pushing blade 12 is also facilitated. on the other hand,
The replaceable blade pusher blade 12 having a side wall 11 substantially parallel to the side wall 7 of the replaceable blade support blade 9 is provided with an elongated hole 21 at a position corresponding to the elongated hole 20.

In the figure, 24 is a pressure plate for supporting a pressure bar 25 for supporting a pressure cover 25 that presses the vicinity of the boundary between the log 1 and the veneer veneer 30, and although not shown, the pressure plate 25 can be replaced with a roller bar.

Furthermore, the device illustrated in FIG. 3 has the mounting direction of the device illustrated in FIG. 1 verticalized, and the device illustrated in FIG. 4 has the mounting direction of the device illustrated in FIG. 2 verticalized. Although there is no particular difference in terms of the equipment, since the space between the log 1 and the log 1 is relatively narrow, it is difficult to insert a supporting member as shown in FIG. 1, and the equipment shown in FIG. In this example, the spare blade pushing blade 12 is fastened to the plane stand 2 via the spare blade support blade 9 using bolts 18 that can be tightened and loosened from the raw wood side, but it may also be directly fixed to the spare blade support blade. It is possible.

In each of the above embodiments, if the replaceable blade 3 is damaged, for example, loosen the bolt 18 or bolt 23 to release the pressure bond between the replaceable blade support blade 9 and the replaceable blade pusher blade 12,
After replacing another new spare blade 3, bolt 18
Alternatively, by replacing the replaceable blades 3 one after another using an extremely simple procedure of tightening the bolt 23 and restarting the crimping between the replaceable blade support blade 9 and the replaceable blade pusher blade 12, it is possible to always perform good cutting. However, in any of the embodiments, a small replaceable blade with a standardized height is used, so as mentioned above, the overall cost of maintenance is low. Moreover, the replacement blade is replaced by placing it on the replacement blade stop shoulder of the replacement blade support blade, which is provided with the height adjusted in advance, so replacing the replacement blade does not take much time, and overall the blade is better. The time required for replacement can be significantly reduced,
It is possible to avoid the risk of reducing the operating rate of the rotary race or adversely affecting the cutting surface of the veneer veneer.

In each embodiment, the replacement blade support blade 9 is fixed by tightening the bolt 17 during the height adjustment at the time of initial assembly setting. As shown in the example, it is convenient if each bolt can be tightened and loosened from the log side, and if the long holes of each member are opened downward, each member can be inserted and removed, making assembly convenient. Yes, or as exemplified in each of the above embodiments, the replaceable blade support blade 9 is
The plane stand 2 is attached regardless of the crimping condition between the press blade 12 and the replacement blade push blade 12.
It is effective if the blade is fixedly disposed in the blade, since there is no risk of the blade supporting blade being shifted and causing a height error when replacing the blade, but in any case,
The means for crimping the replaceable blade supporting blade and the replaceable blade pushing blade is not limited to bolts, but may also include, for example, connecting a hydraulic cylinder directly or indirectly to each of the above-mentioned members and crimping the replaceable blade supporting blade and the replaceable blade pushing blade using hydraulic pressure. There is no problem even if it is configured as follows.

Furthermore, as is clear from FIG. 5, the material of the parts 26 and 27 of at least one of the replaceable blade support blade 9 and the replaceable blade pusher blade 12 that are in contact with the replaceable blade 3 is made stronger than the material of the blade part. If it is made of a strong material, the replaceable blade 3 can be held stably, and the replaceable blade support blade 9 can be held securely.
Or the life of the replacement blade push blade 12 can be extended,
Furthermore, if the distal end of at least one of the replaceable blade support blade 9 or the replaceable blade pusher blade 12 is provided with escape surfaces 28 and 29 for the running of raw wood or veneer veneer, it is possible to prevent fragments of raw wood or veneer veneer from falling. Intrusion can be prevented and the life of the replaceable blade support blade 9 or the replaceable blade pusher blade 12 can be extended, or either of the replaceable blade support blade 9 or the replaceable blade pusher blade 12 located on the raw wood side. The wall thickness near the side wall 7 or 11 of the member is made thicker than the wall thickness near the side wall 7 or 11 of the other member, and the replaceable blade is held by the elastic clamping force of the other member, or the replaceable blade is Blade support blade 9 and replacement blade push blade 12
The gap for the replaceable blade formed by the side walls 7 and 11 of the blade is formed to be slightly smaller at the distal end than at the proximal end so that the replaceable blade can be held more stably. However, in any case, when holding the replaceable blade 3 between the replaceable blade support blade 9 and the replaceable blade pushing blade 12, the usual method of firmly clamping the blade with a strong clamping force is used. In addition to the form, in the state where the replaceable blade support blade 9 and the replaceable blade pusher blade 12 are crimped,
The gap or clamping force for the replaceable blade formed by both side walls 7 and 11 is set and maintained to the extent that the replaceable blade can be attached and removed relatively easily, and the replaceable blade supporting blade and the replaceable blade pushing blade are crimped. There is no problem in constructing the blade so that the spare blade can be replaced without releasing the blade.

Further, as the form of the replaceable blade of the cutter device according to the present invention, the length is approximately the same as or slightly longer than the length of the raw wood to be cut, and in addition to the usual form in which the blade is replaced one by one, at least the length of the raw wood to be cut is changed. In addition to making the length more than twice as long, if necessary, the part used for cutting can be transferred to perform the cutting. For example, using a replaceable blade that is approximately twice the length of the raw material to be cut, half of the raw material can be cut. If you use one half for rough peeling and the other half for regular peeling, and cut by alternating them, there is a very low probability that the part for regular peeling will be damaged, and it will significantly improve the rough peeling of the finely peeled veneer. It is effective because it can be obtained over a long period of time, and of course it is also possible to transfer a long coiled material at any time for cutting, but in any case, as described above, When cutting by transferring the replaceable blade, use a remotely controllable crimping means such as hydraulic pressure from a hydraulic cylinder as the crimping means between the replaceable blade supporting blade and the replaceable blade pushing blade, or
Alternatively, if a crimping means is used that sets and maintains the gap or clamping force for the replaceable blade between the replaceable blade supporting blade and the replaceable blade pushing blade to an extent that allows the replaceable blade to be attached and removed relatively easily, transfer of the replaceable blade can be prevented. This is effective because it can be done quickly, and it is even more effective if a blade conveying device or a blade winding device is provided for transferring the blade, although not shown in the drawings.

The thickness of the replaceable blade should be determined by taking into account the correlation between required strength and cost,
It was concluded that the range of 0.8 mm to 6.0 mm satisfactorily satisfies both the required strength confirmed through experiments and the cost assuming disposable use.

Furthermore, the spare blades of the cutlery device according to the present invention are sufficiently profitable even if they are disposable in principle, but since they are small and inexpensive, they can be stored in large quantities. In addition to re-sharpening and re-standardizing the height, the height of the replaceable blade support blade 9 is configured to be adjustable using the screw 8, so that the height can be adjusted in units of each set, and the height of each set can be adjusted. It is also possible to use it while replacing it sequentially, and of course, if you use this type of usage, there is no need to adjust the height of each sheet, and reuse is more versatile than disposable. It can also be planned.
