る。(B) Prior Art Conventionally, this type of banknote processing apparatus has a banknote receiving path that guides and supports banknotes fed from the receiving unit, at the latter stage of a receiving unit that determines the suitability of banknotes input from the receiving port. a holding box for stacking and storing banknotes on the opposite side of the receiving path by sandwiching the guiding wall; and an opening for communicating the banknotes in the receiving path with the holding box through a stack plate. It is known that the containers are pushed through and stacked and stored in a holding warehouse. When such a banknote processing apparatus is used in a vending machine, a currency exchange machine, etc., it often happens that the banknotes inserted therein must be returned. For example, in a vending machine, if a product selected after inserting a bill cannot be sold because the product is out of change, the inserted bill must be returned. Therefore, a temporary holding mechanism for temporarily holding accepted banknotes is provided between the banknote receiving section and the banknote holding box.

is being strung up. Due to the rotation of the cams 47A and 47B, the stack plate 42 moves toward the opening 4, and the banknotes held between the belt 33 and the guide wall 3 are pushed through the opening 4 into the holding box 8. . A pair of upper and lower claw members 48, 49 that hold stored banknotes in the holding warehouse 8 are supported by rotating shafts 52, 53 mounted on side plates 50, 51.
As shown in FIG. 4, the respective claw members 48 and 49 are set so that their rotational angles are shifted from each other by 180 degrees. The rotating shaft 53 is directly connected to a deceleration motor 54, and a timing belt 57 is stretched around pulleys 55, 56 attached to the rotating shafts 52, 53, respectively, and the rotation of the motor 54 causes the claw members 48,
49 is designed to perform periodic rotation with a 180° shift. The positions at which the claw members 48 and 49 rotate and come to rest are two positions: one in which they extend inward of the storage compartment 8, and one in which they extend toward the outside of the storage compartment 8, as shown in FIGS. 4, 5, and 6. There are three states: a state in which it extends toward the opening 4, and a state in which it extends toward the opening 4. Therefore, the claw member 4 due to the rotation of the rotating shafts 52 and 53
In order to detect the moving position of the shafts 8 and 49, a cam (not shown) is attached to the rotating shaft 52, and the rotating position of the shaft 52 is detected by a switch. 後に停止する。 The operation of the above configuration will be explained. First, insertion port 1
When a banknote is inserted into the receiving section 2, the banknote is taken into the receiving section 2 by the conveying operation of the belt 17 caused by the rotation of the drawing rollers 11 and 12, and the detection head 21 generates a detection force corresponding to the conveyed banknote passing through. However, the above-mentioned identification circuit determines the suitability and type of this banknote. When the identification circuit determines that the conveyed banknote is inappropriate, the deceleration motor 13 is reversed, the belt 17 is driven in the opposite direction, and the banknote is returned to the outside of the machine through the insertion slot 1. On the other hand, if the bill is correct, the deceleration motor 26 is driven when the tip of the bill reaches the sensor 69 consisting of a pair of LEDs and a phototransistor, and the bill is formed between the belt 33 and one surface of the guide wall 3. The banknotes are taken into the banknote receiving path 5. However, if the banknote is a high-value banknote, the belt 33 continues to drive, so that the banknote is conveyed in the receiving direction and then introduced into the storage 7 by the delivery rollers 70 and 71. And the deceleration motor 26 is
The bill stops after a predetermined period of time after the trailing end of the bill passes through a sensor 72 consisting of a set of LEDs and a phototransistor.

When the belt 33 passes through a sensor 99 consisting of a pair of LEDs and a phototransistor, the drive of the belt 33 is stopped, and the bill taken into the bill receiving path 5 is guided to the holding warehouse 8.
There is a street. That is, the holding box 8 holds adjacent banknotes in a state in which they are alternately shifted in the longitudinal direction, and as shown in FIG. When the rear end of the low-denomination banknote taken in by the belt 33 passes the sensor 99, the deceleration motor 26 is immediately stopped, and the claw member 48 and the locking member 58 are used to secure the stored banknote. When the upper end of the banknote is being held, the deceleration motor 26 is stopped after a slight delay after the rear end of the banknote taken in by the belt 33 passes the sensor 99. Assuming that a low denomination banknote is taken in by the belt 33 while the banknotes in the holding warehouse 8 are being held by the claw member 48 and the locking member 58, the banknote 73 has finished passing through the sensor 99. Since the motor 26 stops after a delay time from
It is taken in to a position approaching 7. Then, the deceleration motor 54 is driven to rotate the rotating shafts 52 and 53 counterclockwise by 90 degrees, and the claw member 4 is rotated as shown in FIG.
8 and 49 extend toward the opening 4. At this time, the cam 62,
67 rotates 90 degrees clockwise, the locking member 5
8 and 59 exit to the rear of the partition plate 39. Therefore, the claw members 48, 4 for the banknotes stored in the holding warehouse 8

In the standby state shown in FIG. 7, the stack plate 42 has exited from the opening 4, and the banknotes 74 to be stored in the holding box 8 are held between the belt 33 and the roller 41. Then, as the cam 47 rotates due to the drive of the deceleration motor 46, the guide portion 44 of the stack plate 42 comes into contact with the projection of the cam 47, as shown in FIGS.
As shown in the figure, the stack plate 42 advances into the holding box 8 through the opening 4 and pushes the banknotes against the spring 38. When the cam 47 rotates once and returns to the standby position using the cam 75 and the position detection switch 76 fixed on the same axis, the deceleration motor 46 is stopped. When the belt 33 finishes taking in the low-denomination banknotes introduced from the receiving section 2 in this manner, the deceleration motor 46 is rotated once to introduce the banknotes into the holding warehouse 8.

53 is further rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise, the claw member 49 extends inward of the holding warehouse 8, and the locking member 5 is rotated by the rotation of the cam 67 interlocked with the rotating shaft 53.
9 projects in the direction of the partition plate 39. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6, the stored banknotes in the holding box 8 are held at their lower ends by the claw member 49 and the locking member 59, but at this time, the claw member 48 and the locking member 58 are released. There is. However, when the next low-denomination bill is conveyed by the belt 33 in this levered state, the motor 26 is immediately stopped when this bill finishes passing through the sensor 99, so that the rear end of the bill is placed above the holding box 8. wall 3
Only a position slightly away from 6 can be captured.
After that, the rotating shafts 52 and 53 are rotated 90 degrees clockwise to remove the claw members 48 and 49 and the locking members 58 and 5.
9 to the state shown in FIG. 5, and the cam 47 is further rotated once to push the banknotes into the storage 8. Then, the rotating shafts 52 and 53 are further rotated 90 degrees clockwise, and the upper end of the banknotes stored in the holding box 8 is clamped by the claw member 48 and the locking member 58. As mentioned above, holding warehouse 8
Each time a low denomination banknote is introduced, the banknotes are stacked in an alternately shifted state, and one of the claw members 48, 49 extends into the holding warehouse 8 and comes into contact with one end of the banknote stacked on top. It is configured as follows.

First, the claw member is switched in order to free the highest banknote. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, when the stored banknotes are being held between the claw member 48 and the locking member 58, the switching operation is performed by rotating the rotary shafts 52 and 53 by 180 degrees counterclockwise, respectively. The highest banknote is made free, and the second and subsequent banknotes are held in a sandwiched state by a claw member 49 and a locking member 59 shown in FIG. Conversely, when the stored banknotes are being held between the claw member 49 and the locking member 59, the switching operation is performed by rotating the rotating shafts 52 and 53 clockwise.
Rotate 180 degrees to free the highest banknote, and hold the second and subsequent banknotes by using the claw member 48 shown in Figure 4.
It is held in a clamped state by a locking member 58. After freeing the highest banknote in this way, the deceleration motor 13 is reversed to move the belt 17 in the return direction, and the deceleration motor 28 is reversed to move the roller 9 clockwise. Rotate. Next, the solenoid 36 is energized to rotate the arm 34 in the direction of arrow A, and the roller 9
is pressed against the surface of the free uppermost banknote 17 and urged in the direction of the guiding piece 23. Therefore, the bill 77 moves in the return path 98 while being guided by the surface of the guide wall 3 on the storage 8 side, and its tip pushes away the guide piece 23 against the spring 25 and reaches the guide rollers 16 and 20. do. And banknote 77
is transported toward the insertion port 1 by the belt 17, but when it reaches the sensor 69, the solenoid 36
Then, the deceleration motor 26 is deactivated to stop the operation of taking out banknotes from the holding warehouse 8. Further, the reverse rotation of the deceleration motor 13 continues until the banknote 77 is ejected from the insertion slot 1 to the outside of the machine.
