If the photosensitive paper passes through the printing section along with the paper, proper printing of the photosensitive paper cannot be obtained. Therefore, before the next original and photosensitive paper are conveyed to the printing section, it is necessary to wait until the automatic printing control for the previous original is canceled and the automatic printing control for the next original is performed.

In the figure, a copying machine 1 mainly includes a printing section 2, a document insertion detection sensor such as a micro switch or a photo sensor 6, and a document feed roller 7.
, an original light transmittance detection section 8 , a photosensitive paper feed roller 11 , a printing standby roller 12 , and a conveyor belt 1
Consists of 3rd class. The original light transmittance detection section 8 includes, for example, a light source 8A and a photosensor 9, and the printing section 2 includes a printing drum 3, an exposure lamp 4 built into the printing drum 3, and a reflecting mirror 5. Further, 14 is a separation belt that separates the original from the photosensitive paper, and 15 is a photosensitive paper feed roller that conveys only the photosensitive paper to a developing section (not shown). Point B is a printing section passage point where the trailing edges of the original and the photosensitive paper completely pass through the printing drum 3.

Depending on this measured value, the speed of a drive motor (not shown) is automatically controlled to adjust the printing speed until the leading edge of the document reaches point A. In this automatic printing control state, the photosensitive paper conveyed through the photosensitive paper conveyance path 10 arranged separately from the document conveyance path 6A is brought into close contact with the original, and by the rotation of the printing standby roller 12,
It is conveyed to the printing section 2 via the conveyor belt 13 and is printed. When in such an automatic printing control state, the next original document and photosensitive paper to be inserted must wait without being conveyed to the printing section 2 until the automatic printing control state is canceled. For this purpose, there is a method of stopping the rotation of the document feed roller 7 or a method of stopping the rotation of the printing standby roller 12. However, stopping the rotation of the printing standby roller 12 can further shorten the copying time under automatic printing control compared to stopping the rotation of the document feed roller 7. That is, at point B where the original document and photosensitive paper pass through the printing section, the automatic printing control state is canceled and the drive motor returns to the constant speed state. At this time, the document feed roller 7 is rotated to send the next document to the document light transmittance detection section 8, and the drive motor, which is in a constant speed state, is automatically speed-controlled according to the transmittance detection signal, thereby automatically printing the document. It can be put into a controlled state. However, in the present invention, after the trailing edge of the previous document passes the document insertion detection sensor 6, the next document is inserted, so that the document insertion detection sensor 6 detects that the next document has been inserted.
The light transmittance of the next document is detected in advance by the document light transmittance detection section 8 and stored in memory. moreover,
The rotation of the printing standby roller 12 is stopped, and the original and the photosensitive paper are made to stand by in front of the printing standby roller 12. When the trailing edge of the previous document passes through the printing section 2 and reaches the passing point B, the automatic printing control state is canceled.
At this time, the automatic speed control of the drive motor is performed again according to the light transmittance of the next original that has been detected and stored in advance, and at the same time, the rotation of the printing standby roller 12 is restarted, thereby printing the original and the photosensitive paper. It is expected that the time required for transporting the paper to the unit 2 will be shortened, and that the copying operation will be faster.

In the figure, the burning standby roller 12 is a drive roller 16, a driven roller 17, a clutch mechanism provided on the drive shaft 18 of the drive roller 16, and in this embodiment, an electromagnetic clutch 19 and a drive roller provided on the shaft body 20 of the electromagnetic clutch 19. It consists of a gear 21.
Further, the drive chain 22 is constantly driven when the copying machine 1 is powered on, and transmits rotation to the electromagnetic clutch 19 via the drive gear 21. When the electromagnetic clutch 19 is energized, the drive roller 16 rotates and the burn standby roller 12 is in a rotating state. When the electromagnetic clutch 19 is de-energized, the drive roller 16 stops rotating and the burn standby roller 12 is in a standby state. state.

る。 Next, FIG. 3 shows a flow sheet of this automatic standby device. In the figure, the original or photosensitive paper is copied to copy machine 1.
The original is inserted after confirming that the original is not jammed inside or that the photosensitive paper is ready to be fed out. When the original is inserted, it is detected by the original insertion detection sensor 6, and the original insertion detection circuit 23 sends a detection signal, and the original is sent to the original light transmittance detection section 8, where the original light transmittance detection circuit 24
The light transmittance is detected at . Depending on this light transmittance, it is confirmed whether the automatic printing control state has already been entered. If it is not in the automatic burning control state, the timing circuit 25 and drive motor speed control signal conversion circuit 26
After that, the speed of the drive motor is controlled by the drive motor speed control circuit 27, and the automatic burning control state is established. At this time, the electromagnetic clutch 19 is energized, the printing standby roller 12 rotates, and the original is conveyed to the printing section 2 in close contact with the photosensitive paper sent from the conveying path 10.

At this time, the electromagnetic clutch 19 is not energized, and the document is held in close contact with the photosensitive paper in front of the printing standby roller 12. This standby is based on the operation of the pulse counting circuit 29. Also,
When the preceding document passes through the printing section passing point B, the speed control circuit of the drive motor is cut off to cancel the automatic printing control state. This cancellation depends on the operation of the pulse counting circuit 29. Such a pulse counting circuit 2
9 converts the distance from the document insertion detection sensor 6 to the printing standby roller 12 into the number of pulses generated in synchronization with the drive motor, and counts the number of pulses to detect the back of the document in the automatic printing control state. The timing at which the edge passes the printing standby roller 12 is detected. Similarly, by converting the distance from the document insertion detection sensor 6 to the printing section passing point B into the number of pulses and counting the number of pulses, the timing at which the trailing edge of the document passes through the printing section 2 is detected. .

る。 As a result, the trailing edge of the original is stuck to the printing standby roller 12.
When passing through, the electromagnetic clutch 19 is de-energized and the printing standby roller 12 stops rotating. Due to this stop, when the next original is inserted following the preceding original, the insertion of the original is detected by the original insertion detection sensor 6 and the original insertion detection circuit 23, and the original light transmittance detection section 8 and the original light transmittance detection A circuit 24 detects the light transmittance of the document. However, since it is in the automatic printing control state, the light transmittance of this original is memorized and held in the memory circuit 28, and the document is placed in close contact with the photosensitive paper and stands by at the entrance of the printing standby roller 12.

Rotate again. At this time, the light transmittance of the next document stored in the storage circuit 28 is converted into a speed control signal for the drive motor, the speed is automatically controlled, and the state returns to the automatic printing control state.
