まう。 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there is a two-tub washing machine in which lint is forcibly captured by sending water to a lint catcher provided at the upper part of the washing tank by a pumping action of an agitating blade. However, with something like this,
When the water level is set to high, the water surface is high, so the head when viewed from the pump function is small, and on the other hand, when the water level is set to low, the head is large. Therefore, if the pump capacity is designed to match a high water level, the amount of water discharged will be significantly reduced during low water level operation, resulting in a decrease in lint capture efficiency. On the other hand, if the pump capacity is designed to match the low water level, the amount of water discharged will be too large during high water level operation, and the water will overflow from the lint catcher together with the lint.

にある。 The present invention was made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and its purpose is to adjust the height of the lint trap according to the height of the water level, so as to optimize the amount of water fed to the lint trap. To provide a two-tub type washing machine that can be used regardless of the set water level.

The water in the water discharge chamber 3 which is in communication with the washing tank 1 is pumped by the wing pieces 6 of the blade 6 and passes through the lower water passage 10 of the communication mouth body 8 as shown by the arrow 48 to the suction port 12. is sucked into the pump chamber 2 from above. The water in the pump chamber 2 is discharged from the discharge port 1 of the pump case 4.
3, passes through the upper water passageway 9 of the communication mouth body 8, and further passes through the water supply hose 14 to the water discharge tube portion 34.
The lint is discharged into the lint trap 31 from the lint trap 31. This discharged water is separated from lint by a lint catcher 31 and dropped onto the water surface in the washing tank 1.

When the holding member 30 is moved up and down by the handle portion 35, the holding member 30 also moves up and down, and the bellows-shaped portion 14a of the water supply hose 14 follows this movement.
Of course, the lint catcher 31 also moves up and down together with the adjustment member 29 and the water spray tube part 34, and its adjusted height position is determined by the elastic claw piece 41 of the holding member 30 and the latch tooth part 4.
It is maintained by meshing with 2. Movable support 28
The above function is used to adjust and set the height of the water discharge tube section 34 from the water surface 49, that is, the lift height H, to be constant regardless of the height of the set water level. Almost the same amount of discharged water can be obtained even when the pump is operating at a water level of It is possible to effectively prevent phenomena such as a drop in the lint capture efficiency resulting in an extreme drop in lint capture efficiency, or an extreme increase in water supply at a high water level causing water to overflow from the lint catcher 31 together with lint.
Further, the height of the lint catcher 31 using the movable support 28 as described above can be adjusted to a height desired by the user. Further, according to the above embodiment, the movable support body 28 is composed of two members, the adjustment member 29 and the holding member 30, and has a structure in which the strainer member 16 is elastically clamped, so that the movable support body 28 can be separated for cleaning. structure can be easily realized.

That is, the reference numeral 50 designates a two-part strainer member consisting of a drainage strainer 52 in which a group of water holes 51 is formed, and an overflow strainer 54 in which a group of water holes 53 is formed around the guide recess 23. The lower part of the drain strainer 52 has an engaging protrusion 19 and a hook part 2.
0, and the upper part has an engaging claw piece 55 and a protrusion 56 formed in the water discharge chamber 3.
It is held by engagement with. Further, the upper part of the overflow strainer 54 is held by the engagement between the engaging claw piece 21 and the engaging recess 22, and the lower part is held by the protrusion 5 that it has.
6 and a recess 5 formed at the upper end of the drain strainer 52
It is held by engagement with 7. On the other hand, 58 is a drain port formed in the bottom wall of the water discharge chamber 3, and a drain hose 59 is connected to this drain port. Reference numeral 60 denotes a pipe support body integrally formed with a connecting port body 61 at its lower end, which is disposed in the water drainage chamber 3 so as to be movable up and down, and a tube support member 60 is provided at the lower end of the connecting port body 61 in contact with the peripheral edge of the drain port 58. The lower end of the overflow cylinder 63 is connected to the lower end of the overflow cylinder 63, which is a pipe body with an open top and bottom end, into which an annular valve body 62 is fitted, and a bellows-shaped part 63a is formed at the lower end to give elasticity to the upper half. ing. Reference numeral 64 denotes a holding arm that protrudes horizontally from the back surface of the holding member 65, and the water application cylinder 63 is connected to an annular fitting portion 66 formed at the tip of the holding arm.
The upper end of the is fitted and held. 67 is the operation box 68
The drainage switching mechanism provided in
and a cable 71 that raises the spring against the elastic force of a compression coil spring 70. Here, the drain port 58 and the valve body 62 constitute a drain mechanism 72, and when the pipe support 60 is raised by operating the operation knob 69, the valve body 62 is separated from the periphery of the drain port 58. The water in the washing tank 1 is discharged from the drain port 58 to the outside of the machine. Further, the overflow cylinder 63, which is in communication with the drain hose 59 by the valve body 62 coming into contact with the periphery of the drain port 58, constitutes a overflow mechanism 73, and the overflow rinsing is performed in this state. At times, water in the washing tank 1 overflows from the upper end of the overflow cylinder 63 in the water discharge chamber 3 and is finally discharged to the outside of the machine. Even during such overflow rinsing, when the adjusting member 29 is operated up and down according to the set water level, the upper ends of the lint catcher 31, the discharge cylinder 34, and the overflow cylinder 63 are simultaneously moved up and down, so that the rinsing can be carried out. In addition, the same effects as described above can be obtained, and in particular, the overflow water level can be freely set, which is useful for saving water.
