【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 1 記録用紙の把持部材をそれぞれ有する第1と
第2の搬送装置を連結して成り、それぞれ前記把
持部材で記録用紙を把持しつつ搬送する記録用紙
搬送装置に前記第2の搬送装置のみを機器本体外
部へ導出可能に配設することにより構成される前
記記録用紙搬送装置における紙詰り除去装置にお
いて、前記第1と第2の搬送装置の連結位置に配
設される記録用紙検知センサと、該センサの検知
出力に応じて前記第1と第2の搬送装置にまたが
る位置における前記記録用紙の紙詰りを検出し該
検出時に前記記録用紙搬送装置の駆動を停止する
信号を出力する紙詰りを検出手段と、当該紙詰り
を検出後になされる前記第2の搬送装置の機器本
体外部への引出しに応じて作動するスイツチと、
該スイツチの作動出力に応じて前記第1の搬送装
置内における把持部材の把持を解除させる把持解
除手段とを具えたことを特徴とする紙詰り除去装
置。
