DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a fuel tank device for a motorcycle.

The applicant of the present invention has previously developed a device of this type in which an engine and a fuel tank above the engine are provided in the middle of a vehicle body having front and rear wheels, and the tank is configured to be able to stand up freely about the rear end of the engine as an axis. In the drawings, reference numeral 1 indicates a vehicle body, and the vehicle body 1 comprises front and rear wheels 2, 2, an engine 3 in the middle thereof, and a fuel tank 4 above it, and is constituted as a two-wheeled motor vehicle as a whole. According to the present invention, the breather passage 9 in the cap 8 is configured in a U-shape that opens forward at both ends 9a, 9a, as clearly shown in FIG. 4, for example. As described above, according to the present invention, the breather passage in the cap of the fuel inlet is formed into a U-shape that opens forward at both ends.
