A wide variety of drying methods have been proposed in the past, but most of them use a blower to forcefully blow hot air obtained from a burner heater into a tank.
It is used to dry grain such as paddy that has been supplied and placed in the tank in advance. Since this hot air is extremely high temperature and contains moisture, drying tends to result in superficial drying, and the inside of the grain cannot be sufficiently dried, resulting in uneven drying and cracking, especially for cold-damaged rice. When immature rice is dried using this method, only the surface of the rice tends to dry, which may lead to uneven drying, cracking, and even deterioration of taste.

First of all, in this invention, dry air, for example, dry air A from which 95% of moisture has been removed, is created and sucked and supplied into the processing tank 1 from one side. A suction port 8 provided at the bottom of the processing tank 1 is connected in advance to a suction device such as a blower 2, and the air in the processing tank 1 is sucked and removed by the blower 2 through a filter 3. As a result, the inside of the processing tank becomes under negative pressure. A heater such as a panel heater 4 may be provided in the processing tank 1 to heat the dry air A and grains such as paddy 5, or the dry air A may be warmed in advance and then sucked and supplied into the processing tank 1. It's okay. In the illustrated example, the processing tank 1 is vertical, but is not limited to this, and may be horizontal.
Further, in order to circulate the paddy 5 in the processing tank 1, a rising pipe 7 having a rotatably built-in screw shaft 6 may be provided as shown in the figure. Paddy 5 as a grain contains a considerable amount of water, and such paddy 5 is stored in the processing tank 1, and the blower 2 is operated to blow the air inside the processing tank 1 through the filter 3 to the bottom of the processing tank 1. By suctioning and discharging through the provided suction port 8, negative pressure (low pressure) is created in the processing tank 1.
state. Then, if the dry air A is naturally sucked and supplied from the outside into the processing tank 1 using this negative pressure, the dry air A will be distributed throughout the tank.
Combined with water evaporation due to negative pressure, the rice 5 is sufficiently dried not only on the surface but also inside, and dried in a state close to natural drying. At this time, using the panel heater 4, the processing tank 1
The drying time can be significantly shortened by heating the rice grains 5 in the drying process, or by heating the drying air A in addition to or instead of this. Furthermore, if the rice grains 5 are circulated through the riser pipe 7, even more efficient drying processing can be performed.

As explained above, according to the present invention, grains are stored in a processing tank, and while the air in the processing tank is sucked and removed from the suction port provided at the bottom of the processing tank, the air inside the processing tank is sucked and removed. The grains are dried by suctioning and supplying dry air from the outside into the processing tank according to the air quality, so the conventional drying method, which used to forcefully feed and supply hot air, has become structurally complex due to the pressure and supply of hot air. Compared to the conventional processing tanks that required larger processing tanks, processing tanks can be made smaller and have a simpler structure, and can sufficiently dry not only the surface but also the entire interior of the grains. Alternatively, if the drying air is heated, the drying process can be carried out in a very short time, and the drying process can be carried out efficiently while preventing uneven drying, cracking, and deterioration of taste. It is possible to provide an optimal drying method for drying cold-damaged rice and immature rice.
