When producing an electroforming mold, first an electroforming master is made from a non-conductive material such as epoxy resin or silicone, and then the electroforming master is subjected to electroforming processing to make the electroforming mold. Since this electroformed master is made of a non-conductive material, it is required to process this electroformed master in advance to make it conductive. Therefore, conventionally, when processing an electroforming master, as a pretreatment, a silver mirror treatment is performed on the surface of a preformed electroforming master material to form a silver mirror foil layer to impart electrical conductivity. However, even during this silver mirror treatment, it is necessary to make the electroforming master conductive, so conventionally, as shown in FIG.
A large number of through-holes 21 are bored through the hole 21, and a vinyl-coated electric wire 2 with a diameter of about 2 mm is inserted into the through-hole 21.
2, and one end of this electric wire 22 is then grounded as shown in FIG. 3 to obtain a conductive electroforming master 24.

However, the electroforming master 24 with such a structure
had the disadvantage that large traces of the electric wire 22 remained during the electroforming process, deteriorating the quality of the appearance of the molded product. This is because when the surface of the electroforming mold is textured, it is difficult to correct the traces of the wires, resulting in a deterioration in the quality of the appearance of the molded product.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, and its gist is that after setting a waste mold in which a large number of thin conductive wires are inserted and held in a mold in which an electroforming master is to be made, A method for manufacturing an electroformed master is obtained by pouring a filler into a waste mold to form an electroformed master body, and then peeling off only the waste mold while leaving the electric wire in the electroformed master body. The purpose is to provide Therefore, according to the electroformed master manufactured by this manufacturing method, thin conductive wires are embedded inside the electroformed master during molding of the electroformed master body, so there is no need to drill holes for embedding the wires, which was conventionally done. This eliminates the need for additional work, and since the wires used in the present invention are thin bare wires, traces of the conductive wires on the surface of the silver mirror foil layer, that is, the surface of the electroforming mold, are not noticeable, improving the quality of the surface appearance. This has the effect of producing excellent molded products.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a wooden mold, and this wooden mold is used to mold a waste mold 2 for producing an electroforming master using an elastic material such as silicone rubber as a raw material. Next, a large number of thin bare electric wires 3 are stuck into the waste mold 2, and the bare electric wires 3 are planted and held in the waste mold 2. Next, as shown in FIG. 5, a filling material such as epoxy resin or silicone is poured onto the waste mold 2 in which the bare electric wire 3 is implanted and held to form the electroforming master main body 4, and then this electroforming master body 4 is formed. The body 4 is released from the waste mold 2 with a large number of bare wires 3 remaining inside the body 4 (see FIG. 6). Next, the protruding ends of the bare electric wires 3 protruding from the surface of the electroforming master main body 4 are cut to make them smooth, and then the surface is subjected to the same silver mirror treatment as in the past to form a silver mirror foil layer. The electroforming mold 5 is completed by performing electroforming treatment on the silver mirror foil layer.

As described above, the method for manufacturing an electroforming master according to the present invention involves forming the waste mold 2 for making the electroforming master body 4 from an elastic material such as silicone rubber, and then piercing the waste mold 2 with a conductive wire. Well, this waste mold 2
A filling material such as epoxy resin or silicone is poured into the electroformed master body 4 to form the electroformed master body 4, and then the electroformed master body 4 is released from the waste mold 2 with the conductive wire remaining inside the electroformed master body 4. According to the present invention, thin conductive wires are embedded inside the electroformed master during molding of the electroformed master main body, so that the conventional method of embedding the wires is eliminated. Since the wire used in the present invention is a thin bare wire, the traces of the conductive wire on the surface of the silver mirror foil layer, that is, the surface of the electroforming mold, are not noticeable. This has the effect of producing molded products with excellent appearance quality.
